Smallville is small farming town in the state of Kansas. "A Nice Place To Call Home," Smallville is known for its idealistic characterization of the American Way, Kansas is also notorious for being the "middle of nowhere."
It is home to generations of the Kent family and later, Clark Kent. When the pressures of being Superman were too great, Kent returned to Smallville to gather himself and seek advice from his parents. It currently has a population of 2, 501 and received a new resident when Kara Zor-El agreed to live with the Kent's. Luckily, they weren't home when Clark Kent and Kara Zor-El arrived. Darkseid was waiting to ambush and kill Superman. The duo managed to defeat Darkseid and sent him through a Boom Tube. However, the Kent's house and property weren't so fortunate. Both Superman and Supergirl promised to rebuild everything.
