The Astro Harness is a device of unknown alien origin and later came into the possession of the New God, Orion. It is worn over the shoulder, around the waist, and slung under the feet. The Harness can fly up to Mach 6 or 150,000 miles per hour, protect its wearer from harm, shoot energy blasts, absorb energy from external sources, and project a tractor beam. It eventually wound up in possession of Big Barda and was used by Batman during a mission to Apokolips. However, it was wrecked by a Demon Dog and abandoned.
