Suicide Jockeys are non-human subjects of Darkseid who are outfitted with special harnesses equipped with explosives. The Suicide Jockeys patrol Apokolips' skies in flocks and rain down on targets without question. One such flock attacked Superman while he made his way to Darkseid's palace.
