A former paramour of Martin Stein, an accident resulting in her being locked in a super-cold chamber robbed her of body warmth and gave her incredible powers over ice and cold. As Killer Frost, she is psychotic and kills out of pleasure.
When a $1 Billion bounty was placed on Superman, Frost teamed up with several other cryo-themed villains: Icicle, Captain Cold, and Mr. Freeze. They managed to freeze Batman in his tracks, but Superman made short work of them.
