The Dog Calvary is a military force in Apokolips characterized by armored troopers who ride giant beasts called Demon Dogs. Units of the Calvary patrol the various sections and districts of Apokolips. Two troopers and dogs of the Calvary gave chase to Batman while he was in search of the Hellspore reserve. The troopers were amazed when Batman emerged unscathed from a Demon Dog and demanded their armor.
