Mr. and Mrs. Kim reside in Dakota City and are the parents of Thomas Kim, a student at Dakota Union High School. They were unaware that their son was given powers in the Big Bang and Mr. Kim continued to pressure him to get perfect grades. Mrs. Kim secretly wished he would lead a more balanced life. She was excited when Thomas Kim was visited by Virgil Hawkins and Richie Foley, the only friends she knew of. After he was revealed to be a Bang Baby, the Kim's made sure their son got the best of care.
