Burfid and Dempsey are two avid gamers and fans of the hit video game series, "Sentries of the Lost Cosmos." It follows the formulaic good versus evil theme, good being the Sentries and bad being a collective called the Dark Regents. Burfid and Dempsey made top scores and were invited, along with Corey Cavalieri, to Simon Harper's estate, the game's producer. The three teenagers were misled into becoming Harper's foot soldiers and carry out his agenda to silence his ex-partner, Eldon Michaels.
