After the murder of his parents, Bruce Wayne swore he would have his vengeance. Once he was old enough, Wayne traveled across the planet studying all sciences known to man and forging himself to a physical and mental peak. Years later, he returned home to Gotham City and operated by day as the playboy billionaire CEO of Wayne Enterprises and by night as the costumed vigilante Batman.
Batman was never able to catch Eel O'Brian. During their last encounter, Batman attempted to sway him to turn over a new leaf and leave behind his life of crime. O'Brian refused and slipped away after his bomb detonated a bank vault door. Batman held onto his signature yellow jacket and added O'Brian to his Cold Case Batfiles. Eventually, he figured out O'Brian became the superhero Plastic Man and closed the case.
