Damian is Bruce Wayne's 8-year-old-son. He desperately wants his father to see him as ready to be a superhero. Batman was called away on a mission at Christmas and Damian got the chance to step into the role of Batman to protect Wayne Manor and Gotham at Christmas time against the Joker and his henchmen.

The day after Christmas, Batman helped Little Batman prepare for crime running rampant in Gotham after Joker's return. Little Batman asked Batman who trained him but he tabled that talk for another time. It turned out Gotham was safer than ever. All they did was help elderly women cross streets, rescue cats out of trees, and pick up litter. Bruce lost his car keys and Damian suspected Selina but he just left it in his Bat-pants. Bruce tried to reach Damian the importance of being Damian but it wasn't connecting at first. On New Years' Eve, Pennyworth finished tailoring a dress suit for Damian to wear at the party at Wayne Manor. Damian was listless at the kids table and believed the party was a waste of time. Damian got riled up when the other children at the kids table starting saying Little Batman couldn't have defeated the Joker without Batman. Damian nearly admitted he was Little Batman but Bruce scooped him up for a private talk. Damian wanted others to know of his exploits but Bruce wanted him to be a big boy.

Damian just wanted to be Little Batman all the time. He told Damian being Bruce allowed him to be Batman. Damian asked him what will happen if something bad happens when they're not ready. Bruce tried to convince him to wait till he was older and he would see being Damian was a superpower all its own. One of the guests was a woman with an ulterior motive. She went into the study, looked at the window, then started taking photographs of documents in a drawer in the study. Damian happened to be walking by and realized she was a criminal spy. He was nearly discovered but hid up in the chandelier. Damian thought his dad was busy and decided to handle it himself. There was a creepy series of knocks at the front door that stopped the party in its tracks. Pennyworth found it peculiar since all the guests were accounted for. Bruce Wayne advised him to stay back and make sure Damian was safe while he checked it out. The front door blew up and Wayne was knocked off his feet.

Scarecrow joked his invite must have been lost in the mail. He revealed he came to see Bruce Wayne to take him on a little trip then promised if he went with them, no one would be hurt. Wayne agreed to the terms. Damian was shocked and thought he was going to turn into Batman at any second. Scarecrow called him a coward and laughed. Wayne's hands were tied and they led him outside. Pennyworth held onto Damian as he cried out not to go. Bruce turned and promised he had it under control. Damian considered the involvement of the Joker, Riddler, Calendar Man, Hush, the Court of Owls, Clayface, and Mr. Freeze in addition to Scarecrow. 12 hours after the kidnapping, he was ready to suit up. Pennyworth brought sandwiches and inquired about his investigation. Damian admitted he still didn't understand why his dad didn't beat up Scarecrow at the party. Pennyworth tried to explain it would risk exposing his secret identity and by extension put him in danger.

Damian wished they could both be Batman all the time. Damian fantasized about being Batman all the time with his father. They went to Monarch Theatre but the employee at the ticket booth said they were sold out. Batman pulled him out of the booth, declared nothing is sold out when you're Batman, and threw him. Batman and Little Batman got popcorn and watched a movie. Or going to the Gotham Zoo and tossing the car that stole their parking space. Or Batman declaring homework was a crime. Pennyworth told him his dad also struggled with both of his personas but he realized that sometimes being yourself can be just as powerful as being Batman. Damian countered dad was awesome and he was just Damian. Pennyworth believed he was the bee's knees. Damian thanked him and they hugged. Someone rang the front door bell. They both went to investigate and it was Marion. She introduced herself and revealed she was Damian's babysitter. In the kitchen, Damian speculated Marion was a test his father was giving to prove he didn't need a sitter. Pennyworth believed he just wanted Damian to have a normal life. He was, however, annoyed Marion was rearranging his cupboards.

Pennyworth refused to condone Damian taking matters into his own hands and believed his dad would save himself. Marion entered with a broom and asked Damian how his science project was coming. Damian grumbled something. She revealed she was thinking about making her world-famous meatloaf. Pennyworth protested he made mincemeat pies on Tuesdays and suggested letting Damian choose. He realized Damian was gone. Bat-Dad was surprised Little Batman was leaving home because it was Tuesday and Alfred Pennyworth made his mincemeat pies on Tuesdays. Little Batman told it to get him directions to the worst place in Gotham City. Bat-Dad asked if he was thinking of the Bratwurst Palace. They went to the East End to look for suspicious characters who would know about Bruce Wayne's kidnapping. Bat-Dad noted it only saw a bunch of fancy ice cream parlors and four-star pet hotels. Little Batman couldn't believe Batman cleaned the whole place up himself. People started noticing Little Batman. Bat-Dad believed it was a little too much attention.

Three hoods tried to get his attention. Bat-Dad suggested restraint but Little Batman fought them. Little Batman quipped all he saw was three petty criminals and one really expensive hospital bill. One of the hoods failed to get the joke. Little Batman jumped up to the fire escape. They were no match for him. The dumb one tried to hit him with a crowbar but hit his own man. Once they were all tied up, he finally got the joke. Penguin approached Little Batman. He was shocked to see him out of prison. Penguin told him he had a lot to learn about Gotham and bragged he had the jury out of his hands acting enfeebled. Penguin remembered what he was supposed to do and doused him with a green vial of Fear Toxin. He briefly experienced his fear, being abandoned by his father. Little Batman sneezed and was back to normal. Bat-Dad noted his vitals were off the charts. Little Batman realized he had a target on his back and had to become an inconspicuous eight-year-old boy to investigate his father's kidnapping.

Damian researched Scarecrow at a computer in a library. Little Batman walked through the sewers and began to understand what his father was trying to tell him about personas. Sometimes his superpower was being Batman, other times it was better to be Damian. He also recalled he occasionally used a third persona he called Timothy Business for business stuff. He concluded the point was using all these identities took him closer to saving his father again. He surfaced through a manhole. Marion gave up looking for Damian in the manor and headed into the city to continue looking. Little Batman made his way to Arkham Asylum. Bat-Dad reminded him it was reformed into a daycare by his father before he was born. Little Batman reckoned there had to be a place where the villains were kept. Bat-Dad suggested the place next door, a high security prison complex. He made his way to the High Security Wing and entered the room of Inmate 0564, the Joker. Joker noted how quickly they built the prison to put him somewhere. Little Batman had enough small talk and showed him the canister of Fear Toxin. Joker lied he never heard of it.

Little Batman cut to the chase and asked him what he wanted. Joker demanded a TV in his room so he could watch all his favorite programs, a Taco Tuesday-type situation at the institute, Riddler had to share some of his puzzles, and the guard's ring of keys. Little Batman refused. Joker admitted he drove a hard bargain but was fine with talking first then negotiating later. He told Little Batman the short version of Scarecrow's origins and how he couldn't scare anyone at first so he developed his Fear Toxin but Batman defeated him, cut off his ingredient supply, and wrangled up all the remaining Fear Toxin. He recalled all the toxin was locked up on a floating barge protected by the Gotham City Police Department. He admitted he tried to steal it a bunch of times but failed. Little Batman wondered how Scarecrow was getting his toxin if it was being guarded. Joker was amused by his naivete and implied the police were in on it. Little Batman asked if that were true, why he was still at Arkham. Joker teased he wouldn't be staying there for long. He laughed as Little Batman left.

In need of a change of clothes and research on the toxin, Little Batman returned to the Batcave. He discovered only he and Selina were home. He had Bat-Dad run an analysis on the toxin. Damian was surprised at the amount of research Batman already did on the toxin and connected it to Blue Poppies, Ra's al Ghul, and Talia al Ghul. He ordered Bat-Dad to see if there was anything about an antidote. Bat-Dad misheard and searched for candied goats. Little Batman arrived at Gotham Harbor and observed it smelled like fish sticks and gasoline. He predicted the smell of justice was wafting in. He realized there was enough Fear Toxin on the barge to gas all of the city. He asked Bat-Dad why it wasn't disposed of. Bat-Dad revealed his father wanted to, but its environmental effects would be devastating so the safest option was the floating barge. He watched as the police officers stationed at the harbor and Scarecrow's goons loaded crates of the toxin onto flatbed trucks. Joker's claims were validated. He switched to civies and followed the trucks on skateboard. He made it to the plant and eavesdropped on Scarecrow and Penguin talking.

Scarecrow was angry Batman still hadn't shown up over 48 hours after the kidnapping. Penguin had a theory that Wayne and Batman were enemies and Batman refused to show up because he didn't care. Damian sighed. Scarecrow believed it and called Penguin a genius. A goon reported the last of the toxin had arrived. Damian felt an urgency to stop them now knowing the city was rotting from the inside out and threatening his father's entire legacy. He bumped into Officer Mahoney's leg. Damian pretended to be Timothy Business and claimed he owned all the warehouses in the area. Mahoney asked another officer if they should take him to the "boss" but Damian was simply booked on curfew and taken to Gotham Police headquarters. Commissioner Gordon paid Damian a visit in lock-up. Damian tried to tell him Scarecrow had his father, knew where they were, and the police force was in on Scarecrow's evil plan. Gordon was shocked and asked Mahoney if he was corrupt. Mahoney calmly answered "no" and Gordon believed him. Damian protested that didn't prove anything.

Gordon promised him he had a plan to save Bruce Wayne: he was going to turn on the Bat-Signal and ask Batman to do it. Bruce Wayne tried to take out Scarecrow and Penguin but Scarecrow revealed he had a contingency plan if Batman never showed up, they would kidnap Damian Wayne. Batman would have no choice but come to save a child. He ordered Wayne back into his cell and announced they just got their hands on his son. Marion arrived at lock-up to pick Damian up. Marion told Damian he was the worst little brat she ever met and vowed to ask for a raise. Damian noticed she missed the exit to Wayne Manor. She revealed she was driving him to his father. The doors locked. Damian realized she was working for Scarecrow then warned her the Wayne family was very close with Batman and Little Batman. Marion revealed the entire point of kidnapping Bruce Wayne was to get Batman to show up. Damian spelled out Scarecrow's plan to her surprise. She didn't care how he knew all that and simply couldn't wait until the day was over.

Damian thought to himself and mused he could easily escape and neutralize Marion but he would compromise his secret identity. He decided to play up the kid angle instead. He began crying loudly. She angrily asked what was wrong. Damian lied he had to go potty. She told him to hold it. He pointed out if he did he would potty all over her fancy leather seats. She pulled over. He gave her the slip and made his way to the wastewater facility as Little Batman. He noticed Bat-Dad didn't give him any crime alerts yet. He made his way through the ventilation shaft. Bat-Dad detected the presence of black mold. Little Batman didn't think it was a good time to worry about mold. Bat-Dad disagreed. It was about to summarize Scarecrow's plan when Little Batman interrupted, annoyed with everyone reiterating the plan. Bat-Dad asked him what his plan was. Little Batman stated he would save his dad, destroy the Fear Toxin, take down Scarecrow and the mean babysitter lady, then reform the entire Gotham City Police Department through targeted political policy. He admitted the last bit would have to wait.

Bat-Dad warned they overshot the location of Bruce Wayne. Little Batman fell into a room and was surrounded by all of Scarecrow's henchmen. Little Batman attacked and took them all out. One henchman ran to the landline and alerted Scarecrow. Little Batman choked him out with the phone chord. He kicked the door off its hinges and found his father. Penguin and Scarecrow arrived. Scarecrow flooded the room with Fear Toxin. Little Batman had an antidote ready and took out the two villains easily. Wayne succumbed to the gas and had a nightmare vision of Little Batman turning evil and releasing the Fear Toxin into Gotham's water supply. Little Batman applied the antidote and he regained consciousness. He was surprised. Little Batman admitted he had a little help. Bat-Dad was pleased he finally got some credit. Wayne realized he saw his worst fear. Little Batman assured him he would never turn evil with a dad like him. They hugged. Little Batman presented his suit. Wayne pointed out he got everybody. Little Batman implied there was one more left.

Marion's car pulled in. She stepped out in a suit, annoyed she had to change in a car and vowed to show the world, and Batman identified her as Lynx. Batman and Little Batman charged, to her chagrin. She threw a sword but Little Batman dodged it. Batman snatched her other sword and hit her with a leg sweep. Little Batman asked who she was. Batman told him it was a long story. Little Batman reckoned he could read it to him at bedtime. He punched her. Lynx threw out Fear Toxin but they were unaffected to her surprise. Batman told her Little Batman invented a cure. Little Batman joked it was a science project. They knocked her out and tied her up with Scarecrow and Penguin for the police to find. A note reading, "You're Welcome" was left on Lynx. They got rid of the Fear Toxin. Pennyworth was elated at Bruce and Damian's return and revealed he figured out Marion was Lynx and was working with Scarecrow the whole time in a plot to release Fear Toxin using the abandoned wastewater facility.

They laughed and explained they knew it already. Wayne originally knew Marion was evil because she failed every background check but he thought it would be a good test for Damian to practice his detective skills. He admitted he didn't expect a whole plot with Scarecrow and things got way out of hand. Damian pointed out Pennyworth was the one who got to practice his skills. After taking a shower, Bruce asked Damian if would like to suit up and practice sword skills as a treat. Damian declined and wanted to just be Damian for once. They hugged and watched the Blood Crunch movie with Pennyworth and Selina. Bruce relaxed and remarked this was the life. Pennyworth agreed. Damian asked Bruce about the corrupt police force. Bruce admitted he tried to solve that problem his entire career. Damian suggested using his alter-ego Timothy Business to Bruce's delight.

In the fall, a week into Claire Selton moving into Wayne Manor, Damian, dressed as Little Batman, played Floor's Lava with Selina all over Wayne Manor. He strapped a pretend rocket booster to her back as well. Little Batman furiously knocked then opened Claire's door, alerting her of a lava field emergency. Claire reminded him she had a rule about knocking, never. Little Batman remembered the rest, "because I never have a reason to bother you." He insisted they had to team up to catch Selina. She warned if he didn't leave her alone, there would be an even bigger emergency then lit one of her hands. Bruce patted out a flame that hit a door. He broke them up and asked Damian what they said about bothering Claire then asked Claire what he told her about fire balls in the house. Alfred pointed out there was no harm done. He had no idea the back of his suit jacket was on fire. Bruce put it out but it burned through his jacket and pants, revealing his underwear styled after the British flag. Alfred excused himself to check the rump roast in the oven.

Claire claimed it wasn't her fault. Bruce told her to take it easy and they would talk about it later. Bruce and Damian cleaned up after Selina. Damian wondered if Claire hated him. He hoped her moving in would be like getting a big sister. Bruce assured him she just needed time and in the interim, he needed to go easy on her since she never had a family before and had to learn to trust them. Damian soon met Bruce's childhood friend and Alfred's niece, Alicia. Alicia asked Claire how she liked the manor so far. Claire merely answered with a "Mm" and left the kitchen. Alicia liked being kept in suspense. Damian complained she didn't want to hang with him either. Alicia believed most tweens she knew weren't into imaginative floor-based games and suggested aging it up a bit. Damian mussed up his hair and went to see Claire. Claire was mad he broke the no knocking rule again. Damian pointed out he didn't knock this time. She sighed.

Damian listed off some Floor's games he thought of but Claire had another idea and asked him if it was true Little Batman was good at catching bad guys. Damian humbly bragged he took out the Joker, Penguin, Bane, and Poison Ivy in one night. He conceded his dad was there, but he totally carried him that night. Claire tried to discretely tell him Alicia was a supervillain and they needed to take her down. Damian got excited and talked loudly. Claire told him Alicia was meeting with him at a warehouse in 20 minutes. Alicia happened to leave for a meeting and promised to be back at six o'clock. Damian wanted to tell Bruce but Claire wanted to prove she wasn't just a fiery nuisance and she was worth keeping around. She was surprised when Damian told her she already was worth keeping around. Damian took her to the Batcave for the first time. They took off in the Batmobile.

Claire and Flame observed all the mail boxes, lawn gnomes, lawn ornaments, and trash cans Little Batman was clipping then admitted she was surprised his dad let him use everything. Little Batman revealed he agreed to train him to be Batman as long as he trained responsibly and didn't do the exact thing he was doing right now. He thought it was worth the risk and showed her what the Batmobile could really do. Alicia knew the warehouse needed some work but believed they could get their E*vil operation up and running in no time. King Tut thought it was be the perfect place for E*vil. Claire and Little Batman thought they were saying "evil." Killer Moth, Copperhead, and Giganta arrived. Claire snapped some photographs. Before they could leave, King Tut spotted them up in the shadows. Little Batman threw out a smoke ball, causing Claire to drop her camera. Giganta picked it up.

Claire put on a domino mask and made her way down to shoot Giganta in the foot with fire. She dropped the camera but it fell on Killer Moth's face. Little Batman landed on his back. Moth told him to be careful because the suit was a rental. The camera fell down but Copperhead caught it. Claire ordered her to drop it and conjured a fire ball. She complied and stated she didn't want to fight a kid. Giganta grabbed Claire. Little Batman threw a bola around Giganta's leg. Moth got nauseous and barfed in his mask. Giganta fell but knocked out a pillar and the warehouse began to collapse. The supervillains fled the scene. Claire learned her camera was broken in the ordeal. Little Batman tried to tell her it wasn't that bad. Claire pointed out they leveled a building. He boasted to doing way worse but that didn't help her much. She brought up she was a supervillain only until a few months ago. Little Batman assured her he and Batman only wanted to help her. She calmed down but noticed King Tut was texting Alicia about the incident and he had a photo of her in action.

Little Batman still wanted to tell Batman what happened but Claire revealed to him that the only thing she absolutely remembered from her past life was to never trust anyone. Little Batman went along with her and noted they just had to expose Alicia before that picture got out. Claire didn't see how unless they could somehow magically get her to confess. Ra's al Ghul came to Little Batman's mind immediately. Ra's feigned shock that Damian asked him to defy Bruce's strict prohibition of dark magic to prove Alicia was a villain (and possibly tear his soul apart). He patted Damian on the head and quickly agreed to help his grandson. Ra's conjured the deadly Sphere of Skaratata. Neither Damian nor Claire could say "Skaratata" right. Ra's told them whoever lies while holding the sphere will draw the wrath of the demon inside it. Claire quickly got an idea to get Bruce to let them play a game with the sphere and catch Alicia in a lie. Ra's proclaimed an eternity of suffering would be hers. Damian was unsure about unleashing an evil demon's wrath.

Game night was starting. Claire asked Damian for his help. He relented. Ra's laughed evilly but stopped told them to say Alfred gave them the sphere if they got caught with it. They played charades. During a game of paint ball, Bruce and Alicia ambushed Alfred from behind. Claire and Damian asked Bruce about the sphere. He shook his head "no." They played mini-golf and motocross next. They tried suggesting the sphere again during bowling but Bruce pointed to the schedule. Next were mud wrestling, go-karts, and table tennis. During basketball, Alicia tricked Bruce by throwing his schedule aside. She sunk an open jump shot to Bruce's annoyance. Alfred, Selina, and Alicia felt bad at the sight of Damian and Claire so listless. Alicia got Bruce's attention and asked him to deviate from his plan a little just this once. Bruce felt bad and asked the kids what they were choosing next to play. Claire perked up and picked hot potato with the sphere.

Bruce pointed out the house had a full arcade. Claire called it a special version of hot potato and instructed them that when someone throws it, then asks a question, the person who catches it has to answer it. Claire demonstrated by tossing the sphere to Alicia and asking her where she went in the afternoon. Alicia answered she went to work and nothing happened. She threw the sphere to Damian and asked him what his favorite ice cream was. Damian listed birthday cake and cookie dough then paused and threw the sphere back and asked what her work was. Alicia revealed she was a counselor. Nothing happened. She threw it to Alfred and asked him who his favorite niece was. Claire dove in front of Alfred, caught the sphere, and asked what being a counselor had to do with King Tut. Bruce told Claire it was Alfred's turn. Alicia told him it was cool and revealed she ran a counseling group named "E*VIL," to help ex-supervillains become upstanding citizens. She boasted coming up with "E" for "ex" and "VIL" for "villains." She told them she just bought them a building to fix up into a home.

Damian and Claire exchanged looks and he asked her clarify she wasn't a supervillain. Alicia replied "no" and nothing happened. Alicia threw it to Damian and asked him who he would rather be, Batman or Superman. Bruce wanted to know what was really going on. Before Claire would respond, Damian lied he thought Alicia was a bad guy, told his friend Little Batman who got into a fight that may have led to some light property damage. Damian lied he acted alone except with Little Batman. Skaratata emerged from the sphere and demanded the fibber. Bruce told Alicia this was why they don't deviate from the plan. Once Alicia was out of the room, Bruce and Damian suited up but the latter was benched. Claire pointed out Damian lied for her. He brushed off the trouble he got into. Skaratata slammed Batman repeatedly. Damian clarified it might be big trouble. Damian told Claire there were more important things than being Batman. Claire asked her what was more important. Damian replied getting her to trust him. She asked why that was so important. Damian told her that's what families do. She hugged him. Claire stated he wasn't lifting her never knock rule. Damian still had no idea what that rule meant.

Claire vowed to come clean with Bruce. Batman was thrown into the wall of the floating floor they were on and told her she just did. He fired a grapnel line, scooped them up, and landed on a couch telling her she was part of the family now and wasn't going anywhere but they were both in huge trouble. Damian told him they got the sphere from Ra's. Batman called out to him. Ra's emerged from a cushion pretending surprise at the mayhem Alfred unleashed. Batman told him the demon wanted to take his grandson to the underworld. Ra's was aghast and conjured a written spell they needed to place on Skaratata's forehead while opening his imprisoning sphere. Damian volunteered himself and Claire to put the spell on. Batman volunteered himself and Ra's to open the sphere. Claire asked Damian if he still wanted to play Floor is Lava and melted the floor under Skaratata. He became immobilized.

Damian was impressed and jumped onto the back of the demon's neck. Ra's opened the sphere with an incantation. Damian spun around Skaratata's head with a line and slapped the spell on his forehead while calling him Skara-loser. He corrected Damian as he was pulled back into the sphere. The room was restored but it was a giant mess. Ra's called out to Alfred. Batman told Damian he was great. Claire presumed she should pack her bags. Batman told her to get in and hugged her, too. The family cleaned up.

Damian hacked his school's parent site and changed the password. Before Bruce Wayne could get the new password, there were no slots left to volunteer to be a chaperon for the field trip to Star-Labs. Damian was embarrassed to see his old Deputy Bow-Wow doll in his backpack. Bruce believed talking him along would be bringing a piece of him, too, since he missed the window to volunteer to chaperon. Damian agreed to take it with him. On the way, Damian and the Dent Twins went over their plan they concocted over the summer to sneak into the secret Crime Wing, purportedly the greatest collection of super-technology in the world. The twins were looking forward to seeing their father Two-Face's 1922 Lucky Coin which he donated after he reformed. Damian kept his goal of finding Batman's Lucky Batarang to himself. The plan called for them to slip away from the group and get to the main access hall, distract the guard and steal her key card, divert the motion camera near the entrance, and access the crime wing.

Damian's class was first told about the Terratron Accelerator in the lobby. She told them it was an immense power source capable of destroying titanium, Nth Metal, and interdimensional portals. Trudy Dent wished there was a fast forward button. Damian assured them they would make their move after the accelerator exhibit. He did feel a little guilty about hacking the parent site but the twins told him his father was super clingy. Damian mused it would be impossible to get to the Crime Wing if his father was there. Kelly Chen got a message from Wayne Enterprises saying she won a free trip to the Bahamas. She took her son Paul and left Star-Labs. Bruce showed up ready to fill-in. Victor and Singh were relieved. Bruce lied he was driving by on his way to a totally unrelated meeting and saw Chen hailing a taxi cab. He ignored Damian's hint about wanting to do his own thing with the twins and put a matching outfit on him. He took a selfie. Damian assured the twins they were sticking to the plan.

Damian had Bruce try some arm cuffs but to their dismay, he broke his hands to get loose then bent them back into place and took a selfie. They tried to get away on a jet scooter but Bruce blocked them and pointed to the no riding sign and took a selfie. Damian attempted to trick Bruce with an illusion of himself but Bruce already made an illusion of himself. He took a selfie. In the cafe, the twins told Damian they were ready to give up but Damian insisted they just needed a distraction. He saw his talking Deputy Bow-Wow doll and got an idea but needed a diversion. The twins started a food fight. Damian sneaked out of the cafe and put Bow-Wow into a locker and sneaked back but dropped his emergency contact list without knowing it. Damian fake-cried to get Bruce's attention then told him a fabricated story of losing Deputy Bow-Wow. Bruce took the bait. Judy Dent pretended she had to go the restroom bad. A guard went to unlock the employee restroom for her. Trudy stole the security badge. To avoid the motion cameras, they hid behind the jet scooter and passed through the hall undetected.

Judy lit up at the sight of the Mother Box. With evil glee, she mused they should use it to summon an army of Parademons and use them to conquer all intelligent life in the universe. Trudy remarked everyone wrongly thought she was the evil twin. Damian saw the locker and retrieved what he was looking for from 119B. While Judy and Trudy Dent were flipping Two-Face's coin around, it hit the T-Sphere and started a chain reaction that blasted Harley's mallet loose which fired the Cold Gun which slid a gauntlet towards the Mother Box and turned it on and three Parademons coming out of the Boom Tube. They thought they were summoned by Darkseid to conquer a planet. Damian attempted to explain it was a butt-dial and the Parademon pretended to understand the term. They took the Mother Box into the lobby and attempted to open another Boom Tube to bring in reinforcements. Damian called Bruce on the communicator watch. Damian admitted to causing some "trouble." Star-Labs went into lockdown due to a Parademon invasion.

Batman asked why he broke into the Crime Wing. Little Batman revealed the Lucky Batarang Batman lost some time ago. They battled the Parademons. The leader opened a Boom Tube. The Cold and Heat Guns were ineffective in damaging the Mother Box. Batman revealed they needed a strong enough power source to disrupt the Boom Tube's structure. Little Batman remembered the tour earlier and suggested using the Terratron Accelerator. Batman ordered Damian's teacher Mr. Singh and some of the children to wheel the accelerator into position. Before Batman could fire, he was hit with flame breath. He and Little Batman were swarmed by the Parademons. Little Batman patched a scorched wire with his talking Deputy Bow-Wow doll. Batman had one shot and threw his Lucky Batarang. It hit the button on the accelerator and the Mother Box was blasted. All Parademons were sucked through the Boom Tube before it closed. Batman liked Little Batman's quip about not letting the Boom Tube hit their butt on the way out. The lockdown was lifted. Bruce and Damian apologized to each other and hugged it out. Bruce promised to give Damian a little space and presented his fried Detective Bow-Wow. Damian noticed Selina wasn't in his bedroom like usual.

Alfred Pennyworth, Little Batman, and Ra's al Ghul played in Wayne Manor. Pennyworth was dressed as Robin and Ra's shapeshifted to look like the Joker. Ra's cheated and flew over the trap net. Little Batman and Robin ended up in the net. Little Batman called no fair since the real Joker didn't fly but Ra's thought it was unfair he couldn't kill Robin and phased through the ceiling. Pennyworth had to do his chores next, including running a diagnostic on the Exo-Bat suit, an experimental, highly dangerous, weaponized armor. Little Batman asked if he could help. Pennyworth suggested he might but first he had to get out of the tights then make lunch. The chandelier holding the net fell from the ceiling. Pennyworth asked him if he would like to eat a grilled cheese sandwich. Claire flipped through channels. Damian approached playing a robot. She pointed to the "Do Not Disturb" sign on her person. Damian was shocked by a Gotham News Network report.

Claire turned it. She caved and turned it back after Damian repeatedly begged her. Vicki Vale reported on Mad Hatter's return to Gotham City and the break in at Wayne Enterprises Warehouse #1, along with him having an accomplice named Sad Hatter as well as Batman and a mysterious bright figure reportedly being on the scene. Vale begged the question of what the Hatters were after, if Bright was friend or foe, and the most pressing, is crime returning to Gotham? Damian panicked. Damian peppered him with flurry of questions. Bruce answered he was not sure to most of the questions and pointed out the rule of "no patrol on school nights." Damian pointed out Mad Hatter brought his child with him. Bruce conceded they made Little Batman official last Christmas, but he still had a list of when he was allowed and when he was not allowed to be Batman. He presented the list, numbered to 204, and emphasized Damian could be Batman only when he said.

Damian asked if they could go after Mad Hatter. Bruce called Hatter unpredictable and dangerous and stressed patience. Damian claimed he was practicing that but tapped his feet very quickly. Bruce stated they would bat-chat about the Hatters later and became concerned upon overhearing Alicia asking Alfred if he had a wet suit and shark repellent. After Bruce ran off, Damian looked at the list and opted for a loose interpretation of who was "I" in "When I say." Even Selina found that pretext flimsy. Claire went to the Batcave looking for Damian but was startled by the Exo-Bat. She wanted to know what the emergency was. Little Batman clarified it was a bat-mergency. It reminded her she meant to talk to them about the whole "bat" in front of everything and how it was played out. He asserted that was her bat-pinion then summarized Mad Hatter and Sad Hatter were on the loose. Claire was not interested but he needed an ex-criminal mind to help him figure out where they will strike next. Claire warned Mad Hatter was dangerous and he was just a kid. Little Batman stated he was vengeance. She realized it was pointless to warn him and told him to do what he wanted.

Little Batman thought about asking Ra's al Ghul but Selina disagreed. Little Batman conceded he needed information, not merciless bloodshed, and checked his villain profiles folder. King Tut and Killer Moth bought bath bombs, scented candles, and a cornucopia of chocolates from Dankworths without stealing anything. Little Batman tied them up as they walked to their car on level 2. He asked them what Mad Hatter would want from Wayne Enterprises. Killer Moth tried to repeat they weren't villains anymore. Little Batman raised a Batarang. King Tut recalled Hatter could be quite persistent and would still be looking for what it was. Little Batman interpreted it as Hatter would continue to target Wayne Enterprises's facilities but there were dozens of them. Killer Moth suggested the next closest one. Little Batman realized it was obvious. Killer Moth was surprised but realized he was already gone. King Tut had a feeling he was not coming back to untie them. Ra's refused to believe Claire beat him at a game of cards.

Damian announced he thought he figured out where the Hatters were going to strike next. Claire presumed he never took a break. Damian ate a cookie and realized last night's robbery took place during the guard shift break so the Hatters must have had access to the guard schedules. Ra's concluded Bruce shows weakness by allowing these guards to have breaks. Damian calculated the Hatters would try again in less than an hour. Claire was uninterested in helping and wanted to continue playing cards. Little Batman told Alfred to suit up so they could end the Hatters' reign of terror. Alfred suggested alerting Batman. Little Batman revealed he wasn't picking up. Alfred told Little Batman he could hardly move his old bones. Little Batman convinced him to use the Exo-Bat to do all his bone-moving for him. Pennyworth found the controls complex but Little Batman promised to take it slow. They flew to Gotham City.

Little Batman and Exo-Bat observed Mad and Sad Hatter looking for something in the Wayne Enterprises Storage Facility #2. Little Batman was ready to make a cool entrance but Pennyworth checked his gauntlet and revealed Batman had been alerted and was on his way. Little Batman countered the Hatters might get away and pointed out they had Exo-Bat's assault mode then pressed the center button on Exo-Bat's chest. Various weapons activated and Pennyworth fell through the skylight. Mad Hatter tied up Exo-Bat and Little Batman and prepared to feed them to a chipper. Batman arrived and saved them. Bright arrived and distracted Batman long enough for him to fall under Mad Hatter's mind control. Mad Hatter ordered Batman to destroy his Bat-friends. Little Batman and Exo-Bat hid while Batman and Bright fought but the former soon came after them. Pennyworth realized his weakness was his inability to tell those he loved "no." Little Batman admitted his was not hearing "no" and he could be more patient.

Alfred stood up to Batman and stated "no" which seemed to temporarily mess with Hatter's mind control. Pennyworth continued saying his peace. Hatter realized he was intensifying Batman's willpower and breaking the neuro-hypnotic hold he had. Batman broke Hatter's hold but both Hatters got away. Bright was also gone. Batman chided Little Batman for going on patrol on a school night. Little Batman went with a loose interpretation of "I" of "When I say" in the rules about when he could be Batman. The next day, the family went on a breakfast picnic. Selina was startled by Damian's alarm set early so he could get ready for Go To Work With a Grown Up Day. Claire finished a painting all-nighter and went to sleep but was immediately woken up by Damian. He presented a list of do's and don'ts he complied from doing the don'ts in past Go To Work With a Grown Up Day. She burnt it to ashes and told him a new don't, "don't wake me up when I'm trying to sleep in."

Damian wanted to tell the best part: Bruce's office chair. Claire was way too tired to hear it. It was custom built for CEOs and has standard heating and massage capabilities as well as a sensor that mathematically forms to one's butt. Damian told her he sat on it once and never felt true comfort since. Damian informed Ra's he was going with Alicia this year. He was disgusted to know she still lived at the manor and wanted to go move in with those second rate villains. Damian clarified they were ex-villains and thought they were now good guys. Ra's thought it was the oldest trick in the villain handbook, earn your enemies' trust, then stab them in the back. He used himself as a example and told Damian he switched out a box of sugar for a box of salt behind Alfred's back earlier that day. Damian still thought E*Vil were nice. Ra's told him "once a villain, always a villain." Alicia presented E*Vil to Damian and informed him they had a fun day of community outreach planned. She noticed they already started. King Tut and Killer Moth told a pair of little girls about the joys of urban farming and gave them some carrots. Moth thought it felt really good to earn the trust of the community.

Giganta presented flowers she grew. He thanked her and picked one, confident villains could change but saw Sad Hatter going up the stairs inside with a TV set. Recalling how she and her father Mad Hatter nearly killed him the previous week, he attacked her and read her her rights. Alicia was mad and told him Sad Hatter was just moving in. He noticed her stuff off to the side. Damian tried to explain himself to Alicia without revealing his secret identity and fibbed about seeing her on the news doing bad stuff. He asked her if he could trust her enough to at least give Sad Hatter a chance. He agreed and she went to look for more ice packs. Damian and Sad Hatter exchanged glares. His bat gut told him to keep an eye on her, just in case. Everyone gathered for a group share. Alicia reiterated they were in a judgment-free zone. Sad Hatter talked about how her father forced her into the family business. Damian noted it didn't look forced when they broke into the Wayne Enterprises storage facility last week.

Alicia apologized and implored Sad Hatter to continue. She claimed she didn't know what she was getting into and he told her it would be an easy way to pay off her student debt and build her self-esteem. The others could relate. She hadn't changed her phone yet and was still on the family plan. Alicia ended the group share. They now called Stella "Rad Hatter." Damian was not fooled and called up Claire to ask her to access Bruce's computer. Claire lied she was busy working. Damian called in the IOU for telling Bruce he set his beard on fire. Claire relented. Damian asked her to start by digging up anything she could on Stella Tetch. E*Vil painted a mural on the side of a building. Damian enjoyed it. Alicia told him they did similar projects all over the city. He asked Sad Hatter why she wasn't painting and wondered if helping out the community wasn't her things. She scoffed and repeated she only did graphic design. She showed a new E*Vil sign she made. Alicia loved the kerning and called for a dance break. Damian didn't see the connection. Copperhead pointed out you can't work every second of the day. Alicia told him to trust the process.

Damian gradually let his guard down and joined in. E*Vil helped with a construction project then had a car wash. Sad Hatter lent her hat to Damian and activated its propeller function so he could wipe down a monster truck. Next, they handed out ice cream to the elderly. Sad Hatter gave Damian an extra scoop. He tossed a cherry on top of her ice cream cone. Back at E*Vil, they enjoyed some ice cream cones. Alicia asked Sad Hatter how she was feeling after her first day. She thought it was always hard for her and she always felt judged because of her dad. Everyone agreed living in the shadow of a parent was hard. Damian remarked his dad loves shadows. Sad Hatter felt really welcome by everyone, even Damian. Copperhead told her she was always welcome at E*Vil. They declared a new dynasty of friendship. Claire called Damian and told him Mad Hatter and an unknown accomplice got into trouble two nights ago. She added police were looking for someone named "S. Tetch" as a possible suspect. She hung up and texted the details.

Damian grabbed a garden hose and lassoed Sad Hatter, reading her Miranda rights again, to everyone's dismay. She tried to hide behind Giganta but Giganta got tripped up and the others got snagged up. Giganta fell on top of E*Vil's ice cream cart and made a mess. Damian called it their just desserts and got booed. Alicia called Damian by his full name and demanded an explanation. Damian explain Sad Hatter lied and pulled off a job with Mad Hatter the other night in Central City. Sad Hatter told him the accomplice was Stanley Tetch, her brother, and after she quit the family business to go back to art school, their dad must have recruited him. Alicia mused "Go To Work Day" was over and fired him. On the ride back home, Damian asked Alicia how mad she was on a scale of 1 to 10. Alicia listed off how he brought judgment to their judgment-free zone, alienated their new member just when she was opening up to them, attacked their entire group, and smashed the ice cream cart. She asked him if that sounded like a trustworthy person.

Damian felt guilty and guessed that was a 10. He tried to tell her he still trusted her but she didn't see how she could trust him doing anything anymore. He admitted he was Batman to regain her trust but she joked she was Wonder Woman. He claimed he was being serious. She looked and saw Little Batman in the back seat. She braked hard into a parking spot. Alicia processed the revelation and realized it explained how easily he took out E*Vil. Little Batman figured it would have been easier with Batarangs. Alicia realized Bruce must know, too, and then realized what that meant about Bruce. Little Batman didn't want her ask him to say anymore. He apologized for not trusting her and insisted he just wanted to protect her. Alicia teased he would be surprised she could protect herself. Little Batman got a call from an out-of-breath Claire saying something about a warehouse and Clayface. Little Batman told Alicia he had to go and didn't want to lie to her anymore. Alicia told him it was okay. He threw out a smoke bomb but she quickly saw him running down the sidewalk.

Little Batman popped out a vent and declared it was spaghetti time. The grate landed on Clayface's face and it came through the slits like spaghetti to Little Batman's relief or his line would have made no sense. Batman wondered why he came. Clayface split into two but Little Batman shoved one into the other. One half told the other to get his butt out of his face. An epoxy vat was pierced. Clayface absorbed it and became bigger and stronger. He threw a crate on Batman and grabbed Little Batman and Bright. Batman broke their falls but Clayface was about to flee the warehouse. He told Batman he was fired. Claire emerged from the stairwell and blasted him with flames, countering he was the one who was fired. Clayface was baked solid. Bright released a flash and jumped out a window. Little Batman told Claire how cool she was. Batman called it an impressive day at the office and as he sat, the office chair came to him. Claire was impressed.

Batman thought it was funny that after all that happened, the chair is what impressed her the most. Claire asked him if it never occurred to him she was already pretty impressed he let her into his family. Batman had the chair extend itself horizontally so Claire could sit, too. Little Batman jumped in between them and they hugged. Batman didn't think it could get any better. Claire countered it can always get better and she activated the massage mode. Damian returned to E*Vil to apologize to everyone for acting like a jerk. Knowing it was a hard sell, he listened to Alicia and brought an ice cream cart. Sad Hatter asked if there was cookie dough. He nodded. They ran to the cart. Hatter forgave Damian and told him they better get some ice cream before King Tut ate it all. Batman and Little Batman thwarted two men from robbing a convenience store. The owner thanked Batman for saving his store and prolonging his life. He gave all the credit to his son. Vicki Vale and her cameraman entered commenting it was the second robbery in as many weeks then asked the Batmen if it was a sign that crime was returning to Gotham. Batman denied and deferred to Little Batman while he took a call from Alicia.

Little Batman told Vicki about his "not so convenient" line but the robbers didn't laugh with him about it. They facepalmed. The robbers tried to escape but tripped outside. Little Batman leapt onto one of the robber's chests while Vicki continued to film her piece. The robbers tried to stand but Little Batman kept them down with a flying elbow. Back at the Batcave, Damian asked Bruce about Vicki's question regarding the return of crime. He was still distracted. He didn't think so but felt maybe it was time to tell Alicia about their secret. Damian quickly agreed and noted she might have figured it out already since she was pretty smart. Bruce explained Alicia knew him before he was Batman and since there weren't that many people like that, he liked keeping her separate, but she is a friend and the people they care about deserve to know the truth. Bruce planned to tell at her during "Scourge of the Blood Rot 24" that night. Man-Bat wished he could go but he realized her baked his own eyeballs while suntanning under lamps. He confirmed he couldn't see anything. Damian was happy to see his first scary movie. Bruce clarified he couldn't see it with them but was sure the theater had plenty of appropriate options for kids.

Damian was aghast the only movie he could see was "A Baby Movie." Bruce pointed out he liked the meme. Damian countered the meme was 30 seconds long. He wondered how they made a whole movie out of babies just laughing. Alfred proposed Damian was ready for more sophisticated cinema fare. He was going to go see "Le Pain Leve Aussi" (or "The Bread Also Rises"). Alfred revealed he baked the same baguette the main characters make after their first kiss in the bakery and was sneaking it into the theater in his suit jacket sleeve. Damian advised Alfred not to take it the wrong way then reacted "Bleh!" Glued to her phone, Claire told Damian she would go with him. Damian wished Bruce good luck on telling Alicia. Damian couldn't believe he wasn't allowed to see a scary movie despite defeating the likes of Joker, Bane, and Poison Ivy. Claire went to charge her phone but realized too late someone jammed gum in both outlets. She watched in horror as her phone died and shut off. Damian tried to console Claire, who collapsed on the floor.

Damian became worried about Claire. Claire told her phone repeatedly to turn on. She wondered why the babies kept giggling then told Damian they had to leave and suggested sneaking into Blood Rot. Damian pointed out that was a crime. He admitted the movie had some funny parts. Claire and Damian left the movie laughing and bringing up the funny parts. Two girls in the lobby were alarmed by their impressions. Claire and Damian made a pinkie swear pact to never tell anyone they liked that movie and take that secret to the grave with them. They were surprised to see Alfred leaving his movie with Commissioner Gordon. Gordon told himself to keep it together. Before Claire could finish asking him how the movie was, he started crying again. Damian suggested taking him to the baby movie. Alicia drove Alfred, Claire, and Damian home. She confirmed Bruce told her he had a work emergency. He asked her if he said anything else. Claire wondered why the babies didn't just tell the Wumplets that they had the Giggle Gem and wrote it off as a major plot hole.

Alicia told her sometimes friends keep secrets. Alfred noted Phillipe 'Le Pain wrestled over sharing his coveted baguette recipe with Jaques. He and Claire agreed that was noice. Alfred added when Phillipe finally did open up, Jaques was moved by the trust his friend showed him because it took courage to lay his secret bare, even to his closest companion. Damian asked Alicia if she agreed sharing secrets brought friends closer. Damian got a signal from Batman and he asked Alicia to drop him off at the old drive-in where Bruce thinks Damian left his bat after they played baseball there. Claire told him not to wink wink so much and realized he told Alicia he's Batman to their dismay. Damian claimed she was family and people they care about deserve to know the truth. Alicia couldn't take anymore and did a hard brake, then told them she was the mysterious Bright figure seen searching Wayne Enterprises warehouses. Bright, Little Batman, and Claire joined the battle just in time.

Killer Croc charged Little Batman. He threw out a bola at the last second and Croc tripped and fell right into a parking meter. He celebrated prematurely. Claire blasted Hatter and yelled at Little Batman to pay attention. Some time later, the Gotham City Police Department arrived to collect the villains. Because of the heavy hitters showing up, Batman asked Bright to keep the information about the AntiGlow device between them for the kids' sake. Bright agreed to for the time being. Movie night resumed at Wayne Manor. Alfred has his own surprise and played "La Mousse Pousse Lentement" (or "The Moss Grows Slowly") then offered everyone baguettes.

During breakfast, Damian told a new joke, "What do baby bats learn at school?" Alicia guessed, "How to wing it?" Damian revealed it was "the alpha-bat" and everyone laughed. Man-Bat ate Bruce's pancake. Claire entered. Bruce blurted out the punchline by mistake. Alfred worried coffee would stunt Claire's growth and gave her a flask filled with hot cocoa instead. She remarked a pound of sugar mixed with chocolate was cool and declared she now had diabetes. Alfred mused no good deed goes unpunished. Bruce noticed Claire's "only sheep comply" shirt and recited Article 3.7 of the school dress code prohibits attire with any messaging whatsoever. Claire called it self-expression and claimed nobody cared about those school rules. Bruce stated he cared and looked at all of Claire's slips for dress code violations on the refrigerator. He told her the rules matter and reminded her she got six discipline slips this month so far. Alicia thought her shirt was cool and revealed she was wearing one, too. Claire noticed and conceded, promising to go change.

Bruce told her he understood self-expression was important then reminded her they all would get a chance to express themselves at family karaoke night. She wasn't looking forward to it. Bruce and Damian reminded her of Article 5.1, "Hats are not to be worn indoors." They high-fived. Claire thought he was ruining Damian. Bruce finally noticed Claire was holding a painting. She told him it was a self-portrait. Bruce studied it. He finally asked if that was hair. She slapped his hand away in frustration and stomped off. During karaoke night, everyone was stunned by Man-Bat's superb opera singing. Alfred checked the roster and announced a duet from Damian and Claire was next. Claire had no idea she was in one. Damian revealed he signed them up and elected to sing the high part while she sang the low part. She passed. Damian and Bruce tried to get her excited to do it. Man-Bat and Ra's joined in. Alicia suggested letting her watch instead.

Claire agreed and stood up but the discipline slip she got that day fell out of a pocket. Bruce was shocked. Claire tried to explain her classmate's dad made the art but Bruce wasn't hearing it. Alicia tried to tell Bruce to listen to her but Claire snapped he didn't need to listen since he already knew everything. She stormed off to her bedroom. Alicia stopped Damian and suggested they give her time to cool down. She vented about nobody understanding her and decided to meet up with Snow and her partners. Despite the no knocking sign on her door, Damian knocked and apologized for trying to make her do a duet. He paused and listened but wasn't sure if she was giving him the silent treatment or rolling her eyes. He peeked in only to see which one but realized only Selina was present. He looked under her bed then dipped a finger in her mug, identifying the coffee as Arabica, dark roast, and still warm. He was repulsed by how strong it was and grabbed a business card to wipe his tongue with when he noticed a hand written address to a coffee shop and a meet time of 10 pm. He could still taste the coffee and wiped his tongue.

Claire went to the Bleacker Street Station in Downtown to take the train. Damian slid into the train at the last second claiming to be saving her butt before Bruce noticed she was gone. He remembered to tell her she forgot to turn off the tracking app on her phone. She thought she did but Damian revealed there was a secret back-up bat-tracking app. He input the passwords 9-37-19, 10-23-75, and 12-7-31. Claire appreciated it but told him he couldn't come with her. Damian tried to pet Flame then was amazed they were going under the river but found it just a little scary. Damian looked at Claire's portfolio and thought it was amazing, thinking she was way better a painter than Bruce. She was surprised he painted. Damian clarified he kinda did and revealed he was taking a class called "Fathers Trying To Connect With Their Daughters Through Paint 101" but he was flunking. One painting got his attention but Claire got defensive. She told him some of her past was hard to talk about. Damian thought she meant her amnesia.

Claire revealed being a kid was the only thing she could remember. Damian told her he understood and she didn't have to tell him then progressively made a cuter and cuter expression until she caved. She revealed from the very beginning, her powers freaked everyone out, even her mom but her dad was never scared. As she got older, her powers got harder and harder to control. Claire's dad had a hard time keeping her safe. On one occasion, children upset her at a park and she lit it on fire. One day, the government came and took her away to be tested at first. They told Claire's dad they knew best and that they would help. It was a lie. Claire was taken to Project Cadmus, a top secret program dedicated to countering the powers of metahumans. Damian revealed Bruce kept her encrypted website bookmarked on the Bat-Computer. Cadmus only wanted to turn her into an operative. She thought it was a nightmare. Art was the only thing in her life that wasn't terrible. One day, she met another child named Caitlin Snow who broke her out of her cell.

Damian offered her a piece of candy to cheer her up. Claire accepted it and ended her story, telling him they busted out of Cadmus and lived a glamorous life of crime as Volcana. The candy tasted off and she asked what flavor it was. Damian told her it was pocket lint. She called him a dork but still wanted to meet with Snow because she thought it was her second chance for her artistic aspirations. Damian thought she was right and told her she deserved it. Claire and Damian reached Espress-Yo-Luck Coffee Ship and saw Snow inside with her partners. Damian promised to stay out of her away and sat on the other side of the shop. He picked out a book from the shelf, "An Abstract of Nihilism Demonstrated" and was bummed there wasn't even a picture on the cover. While Snow's partners Poetry and Ophelia talked at the counter, Damian overheard them talking about needing to get Claire to the Gotham Museum and breaking into a vault then they would be rich. Damian ran out of the shop and told Claire to wait. Claire lied she just met him on the train and tried to help him because he was lost.

Once there was enough distance, Damian told Claire that Snow was Killer Frost but she knew that already. She didn't believe Snow was up to some villainous scheme and told him she was reformed like her and for once she was doing something she wanted to do. She got into Snow's Beetle and they drove to Gotham Museum. He tried to call her phone in vain. Snow's gang revealed they were Cyclone and Rumbler and were planning to rob the museum of its most valuable art and forced Claire to use her fire to burn through a vault. Little Batman came down through the skylight and kicked Rumbler across the floor. A vase fell on her. Claire told him to run. Little Batman stated that's not what family was and every citizen of Gotham is a family to Batman. Frost stated she was from Central City and pinned him to a wall. Batman and Bright arrived. Frost held an icicle to Little Batman and told Batman to stand down. The vault door finally broke down. Cyclone asked Batman if he was going to save the art or his friends.

Batman replied both then presented his terrible painting of clouds he made for Claire. Frost, Cyclone, and Rumbler were horrified. Batman threw a batarang, freeing Little Batman. He jump kicked Cyclone. Bright and Little Batman secured Rumbler and Cyclone. Claire blasted Frost out of the vault. Everyone tried their hand at painting the next day. Damian and the Dent Twins stood outside City Comics. They informed Damian that after months of anticipation, GokiFluff Series 77 was about to be released. Trudy was keyed on Gubbub specifically. Damian remarked it looked kind of cool. Judy went on a rant about how Gubbub is the deadliest GokiFluff ever and has destroyed entire cities and only five cards were made. Trudy advised Damian to ignore her and she was just being dramatic. Judy took a deep breath then entered the store after Damian and Trudy. Trudy revealed they were huge Goki fans and ran GokiFreak, the go-to site for all things Goki yet claimed they weren't obsessed. The twins were stunned when the shop owner revealed his entire shipment was stolen, the latest in a wave of Goki robberies. The twins faces turned red and their screams rocked the city. They laid on the floor. Damian bet them a certain dynamic duo was already on the GokiFluff case.

Batman informed Damian they couldn't look into the stolen GokiFluff cards case. Damian insisted children in the city were suffering. Batman told Damian they can't investigate the thefts until he and Bright were done in the Batcave. Damian asked what they were doing. Batman lied they were doing boring adult stuff. Bright revealed they were doing taxes. Damian somehow believed they were both in the Batcave in their crimefighting gear doing their taxes, found it boring, and decided to fly solo on the case. Batman told him no solo flying and was stern about it. Damian walked off disappointed. Damian paced in his bedroom. Ra's came up through the floor upset Batman foiled the aspirations of his munchkin. Damian told him Bruce wasn't going Batman-ing with him at all lately and wondered what he did other than level E*Vil's home and cause a Parademon invasion. Ra's brushed them off as innocent mistakes any child would make. Damian remembered the monster on game night. Ra's thought Skaratata was fun.

Damian agreed but was concerned Bruce didn't want to be partners anymore. Ra's told Damian he didn't need him. Damian pointed out he said he couldn't fly solo. Ra's suggested he didn't. Damian asked if he was going to be his partner. Ra's promised they would deliver a fiery vengeance, ensuring eons of suffering for the criminals. Damian told him he would think about it and backed out of his room. He started looking for someone else to be his partner to prove to Bruce he was a good partner. He went to Alfred in the kitchen but Alfred turned him down, recalling the lesson he learned about saying no. Claire passed. Selina passed. He tried Claire again but she turned him down again. Ra's talked of boiling their prey alive. Damian tried Claire again but she told him to get lost. He sat on the couch by Man-Bat morose. Man-Bat asked how he was doing. Damian told him he was okay. Man-Bat clarified he was talking to his flea buddy. Damian was surprised Man-Bat was friends with his fleas. Man-Bat called it more a love-hate relationship, joking he loved them and they hated him, especially Scott. Damian sighed.

Man-Bat finally noticed he was sad. Man-Bat thought it was because Batman cared more about taxes than trying to find the scoundrel who stole all the GokiFluff cards. Damian was surprised he heard all that. Man-Bat pointed out he didn't miss much with his ears, listened, then hinted to Damian he didn't want to know what Alfred was currently doing. There was a flush in the distance. Damian ascertained he knew about the GokiCard thief, too. Man-Bat informed it him it was all anyone was posting about on GokiFreaks. He took solace in buying Series 77 pre-launch packs before the thefts started. He realized Man-Bat was a Goki fan. Man-Bat revealed his GokiFluff shirt and glasses. Damian was floored then got an idea. He recalled Man-Bat used to be a superhero sometimes. Man-Bat mused he was more of an antihero, which were all the rage in the 90s, along with the Macarena. Damian proposed he help him catch the thief. After hearing everyone reject Damian and now being asked to be Damian's partner, Man-Bat was touched but admitted it has been a while since he saw some action. Damian promised to get him up to speed in no time. Man-Bat agreed to the partnership and high-fived Damian but fell off the couch when Scott started biting him.

Little Batman waited for Man-Bat on a roof but he was late. Claire specified he was an hour and 45 minutes late. Little Batman was surprised to see her. Claire indicated she was there for her own amusement and even brought popcorn. Man-Bat arrived in his own Bat costume, saying dynamic duos needed to coordinate. They were startled by his mask. He started workshopping a new name and asked to be called Man-Batman. Little Batman suggested sticking to Man-Bat. He pointed to a boy who lost his balloon. Man-Bat failed to grab it and flew into active power lines. He saved a window washer on the job but saw a man inside the building changing. The man punched him and he was knocked onto active power lines. The window washer fell but landed on a bush. A car was parked in a crosswalk. Man-Bat lifted the car up so he could pass but the man hit him with his cane and turned around. The car alarm put Man-Bat in a frenzied state. He pushed cars and people aside. Little Batman fired his grapnel line. Claire held him down. The line snapped and Man-Bat hit an active power line. Man-Bat explained to them that high-pitched sounds made bats go "cuckoo bananas."

They overheard a boy telling his friends that City Comics just got a shipment of Goki Cards. Little Batman was game to go on stake out. Man-Bat used his hearing and told them it was too late, City Comics was being robbed. He added the owner was screaming about it and barricading the door but the thief smashed the window and got out. Little Damian observed police taping up the area outside City Comics, an officer taking a witness statement, and children looking at Goki Cards scattered on the sidewalk. He guessed the thief was looking for something. Man-Bat suggested asking the guy with all the GokiCards on the roof across the store. Man-Bat flew him over but Toyman spotted them and ran for it. He threw out a yo-yo that entangled Man-Bat and he flew through the top of the emergency ladder. Man-Bat told Little Batman to leave him but changed his mind as he started to suffocate.

Back at Wayne Manor, Little Batman tossed a bag of frozen peas to Man-Bat for his ribs but he ate it instead. Man-Bat didn't see the big deal with Batman not wanting to be Little Batman's partner and pointed out no one else did, even Selina. Little Batman contended Selina technically didn't say no, just "Meow." Man-Bat asked what kind of meow. Little Batman imitated the meow. Man-Bat claimed he spoke cat and that was a no. He made a cat sound. Elsewhere, Selina heard it and chuckled. Man-Bat wanted to return the favor to Little Batman for being best friends with him. He vowed they would find the thief because nothing could stop him once he started something. He barfed out the peas mid-sentence and saw one kind of looked like Alfred. He showed Little Damian and imitated him, saying, "Oh, biscuits. I'm a pea!" Little Batman chuckled. Man-Bat suggested they continue honing in their fighting skills. They went to the attic, where Man-Bat lived, and played a GokiFluff fighting video game. Damian thought his room was cool. Man-Bat revealed he tried living in the Batcave for a while, but those bats were mean. Damian finished off his character. Man-Bat was surprised and realized he lost five in a row.

Damian noticed he owned one of the special edition Gubbub cards. Man-Bat took it out of the case and told Damian only five of them were made because it's coated in pure Chromalithium. He remarked it gave the taste buds quite the shock. He licked it and it literally electrocuted him. He put it back in the case and revealed he was keeping his on the down low on account of the "Gubbub curse." He logged onto the GokiForums and told Damian about the other four GokiFans who found a Gubbub card mysteriously lost theirs in a series of unfortunate and purely coincidental mishaps. A tree fell on one's car. Another's bicycle fell apart. Another's house flooded. The fourth had to get a cast on his right arm. Man-Bat thought they really should have sold their cards to NamYot_GokiFan when they had the chance. Damian asked who that was. Man-Bat explained the user was offering a fortune for Gubbubs. Damian pieced it together that when they said no, all four lost their card in a freak accident. They realized NamYot_GokiFan was the thief. Man-Bat admitted there was little known about him. Damian believed the site moderator would know who he is.

Damian and Man-Bat visited the Dent Twins at their home. The twins didn't take kindly to their request to rat out a fellow GokiFan and thus, betray their duty to the GokiFluff community. Damian told them it was a special request for his friend Batman and his new partner, Man-Bat. To Trudy's surprise, Judy agreed to help. Judy pointed out the thief was stealing every pack of cards getting shipped to Gotham. She saw the username NamYot_GokiFan was registered to an H. Okamura. Damian realized that was Hiro Okamura a.k.a. Toyman. Trudy asked him for a favor in return. Damian asked if it was to help the Caped Crusader stop Toyman. Trudy wanted him to tell his weird, sad uncle to stop licking their GokiFluff cards. Batman summoned Damian to the Batcave. Damian was shown still shots of a hooded thief connected to the parts thefts and recognized him as the prime suspect in the GokiFluff case. Both Bruce and Damian were sure he was Toyman. The former was concerned he was building a deadly machine and it was time to stop him. Damian was surprised he wanted to partner up. Bruce asked why he thought that but Alicia cleared her throat. Damian was already suited up and ran off to get the bait for trap he already set.

Damian bumped into Claire and announced Batman was re-partnering up with him. Claire thought he was partners with Dr. Langstrom. Little Batman remembered but felt they didn't need to be anymore and Langstrom wasn't cut out for the superhero stuff and didn't want him to get hurt again. Man-Bat heard them and became sullen. He agreed with Scott that Damian was right but he would rather get hurt than see Damian get hurt so he would protect him because that's what partners do. By the time Little Batman got to the attic, Man-Bat was gone but he left a note, saying he needed to prove he was a great partner. The note was unfinished because he saw a raisin that looked like Alfred. Claire ate it. Little Batman wanted to make it right and go after Man-Bat. Claire agreed to try to stall Bruce. In Kiddie Kingdom, a robot based on the GokiFluff named Whirlwing prepared to finish off Man-Bat with a cement block but Little Batman crippled it with a batarang then demanded his partner to be released. Toyman was not intimidated by a small child. Little Batman disabled another Goki. Man-Bat claimed to have things under control as he was being restrained and punched. He let out a high frequency scream that shorted a Goki out.

Toyman inserted the five cards into something and activated it. Little Batman and Man-Bat dispatched the remaining Gokis. Little Batman apologized about not being a good partner. Man-Bat told him not to sweat it. Toyman, claiming to be the World's Greatest GokiFan, unveiled a giant Gubbub robot, the world's greatest Goki-custom with some special upgrades. It fired an eye laser at them. Little Batman and Man-Bat took cover. Man-Bat believed they needed to knock Toyman off Gubbub. Little Batman didn't think they could get past its defenses. Man-Bat believed his friends could. Toyman was attacked by fleas and fell off. Man-Bat cheered on Scott the flea. Little Batman threw a bola at him in mid-air. Gubbub reactivated and its destroy mode suddenly turned on. Toyman repeated he wanted his custom to be an exact replica of the card art. Little Batman feared it would destroy the city if it got out.

Man-Bat flew up to remove the cards from the battery chamber but he was knocked into a wall. Little Batman threw Batarangs but its shoulder cannons vaporized them. Gubbub blasted a hole in the entrance. Man-Bat suggested it was time to go "cuckoo bananas." Little Batman threw a batarang that somehow went over Gubbub's head, descended, and hit the fire alarm. Gubbub was unable to keep up with Man-Bat in his frenzied mode. Little Batman fired his grapnel at Man-Bat and swung him to the battery chamber. He licked one of the cards and caused an electric discharge. Gubbub collapsed. Little Batman cheered on Man-Bat, who gave a thumbs up. Toyman tried to hop outside but Batman grabbed him over his shoulder. Little Batman was worried at first but Batman told them they crushed it and told them to bring it in. The Dent Twins were invited to Wayne Manor for a game of GokiFluff but they were upset Man-Bat had a Gubbub card.

Bruce reminded Damian and Claire it was going to be the first Wayne family interview for the both of them. He adjusted Claire's tie and informed them Vicki Vale will want to do one-on-one interviews. He advised them to give the world an informal, off-the-cuff sense of who they were then wanted ot rehearse the answers he gave them. Damian read the answer off his palm, saying his interests included being an upstanding citizen, spending time with family, and maintaining a strong GPA at school. He mispronounced "GPA" as "gippa" and Bruce suggested not looking at this palm and told him it was GPA. Claire felt they should decide how the world sees them. Bruce remembered back then, his parents had everything under control. Not a single hair was out of place. They made sure everything was perfect. He felt it was his turn to make sure this day was perfect for them. Damain was touched. Claire replied blegh. Bruce wondered where Alicia was. Damian wondered about Ra's and Dr. Langstrom. Bruce pretended he didn't know. Ra's and Man-Bat were kept in the lakeside cabin away from the manor.

Bruce couldn't get Damian's hair to stay down and asked Alfred to get the glue. Vicki arrived early. Bruce told them to look relaxed and happy but not too sweaty or unnatural. He was shocked to see Alicia with E*Vil. Damian and Sad Hatter hugged. Alicia told Bruce their brownstone had a bit of a plumbing issue and she told E*Vil they could crash at the manor. Damian thought Alicia and Bruce were having a family huddle and came to them. Bruce told him it wasn't a huddle and was cognizant of Vicki watching them. Alicia filled in Damian. Claire asked whey they were dressed like dweebs if he was so worried about their look. Damian asked if they could get a snake. The cameraman smacked Killer Moth with a broom to try to get him away from his light source. Bruce didn't think E*Vil was a good look, stated they were not getting a snake, and asked if they could stop huddling. Alfred asked if he should add five new settings to the dinner table. Bruce wanted to stay focused on the interviews and show Vicki they were a perfect family. He posed them for the camera. They smiled. Bruce nudged Claire. She smiled.

Damian hugged and smooched Selina for the camera. Everyone except Bruce was bummed E*Vil changed their minds about joining their dinner. Alicia was suspicious. Bruce made a toast to Vicki but watched as Skaratata chased E*Vil outside. Bruce guessed that's why they didn't come to dinner. Damian let it slip this wasn't the first time they encountered it. Skaratata vowed to find his liar, the fool who masqueraded as a pharaoh. Tut took offense and the chase resumed. Bruce called out to Ra's, outing himself to Alicia. Ra's tried to claim he was forced to do it. Bruce stressed he told Ra's to occupy them, not kidnap. He admitted it was a bad call but he just wanted it to be perfect. Claire asked how that was working out for him. Bruce apologized for trying to control everything. Alicia told him nobody was perfect. Damian knew he was just looking out for them. Claire added, in his overly obsessive way. Ra's pointed out there was still a rampaging demon. Man-Bat presented the pieces of the sphere. Claire and Damian attacked a foot while Bruce slipped away to suit up.

Everyone gathered to watch Vicki's interview on the news. It was a montage. Vicki concluded the Wayne family had many things going for them, but perfection wasn't one of them. Claire loved it and kept replaying Bruce prying Selina off his face. Bruce looked around and thought it looked pretty perfect to him. Batman and Bright took out Mr. Freeze's goons while Freeze was annoyed with Little Batman dodging his blasts. Little Batman teased the word he was looking for is freeze. He threw a Batarang into a water pipe. Mr. Freeze blasted the stream of water but got frozen himself. Little Batman kicked a goon into Freeze and he broke out of his prison declaring no more Mr. Ice Guy. He detonated a freeze bomb that stopped the trio in their tracks but he noticed they weren't reacting like he thought they would. Little Batman hinted they were turning up the heat. Claire jumped in through a window, blasted goons, and unleashed enough heat to engulf the room in steam. Little Batman knocked Freeze out. She told him not to call her Volcana and she was not a superhero. Batman told them to tie up Freeze and the goons while he and Bright did a final sweep.

Damian did a cannonball into the in-door pool. He counted three flips but Claire told him Alfred still held the record with five on his last turn. Ra's demonstrated infinite somersaults. Damian wondered where Alfred was. Bruce lied he was probably baking cricket or playing biscuits. The Bat-Signal was visible in the sky. Bruce, Damian, Claire, and Alicia ran to the Batphone. Bruce answered the Batphone as Batman and was apprised by Gordon of a museum heist. King Tut, while under the mind control of the Antiglow, broke into the Gotham Museum and stole King Tutankhamen's mummified feline companion. Bright was shocked. Little Batman speculated it might not be the real King Tut. Tut tried to run but lost his robe. Little Batman rescinded. Batman noticed his eyes were off and decided to take him to the Batcave. In the Batcave, King Tut was restored to normal. Little Batman gave him a special carbo-load shake to keep up his strength. Tut swore on the lotus of Nefertem he had no idea what happened. The last thing he could remember was E*Vil gathering to watch the season finale of "Battle Ship Bake Off!" but a mysterious voice spoiled the results, revealing Samantha won, and blasted a ray at them then they were all overcome with rage and trashed the brownstone. He took a drink and was delighted to taste wintergreen bubblegum. Little Batman presumed it was, he found it in Alfred's pocket, and assured Tut his dad already figured out what happened. Batman determined Tut was brainwashed with some sort of hypnotic light.

The Bat-Computer picked up an alert. Vicki Vale reported E*vil had gone rogue. Little Batman wanted to help E*Vil. Claire pointed out they were all over Gotham and with the mind control, they were actually effective criminals. Batman decided they would have to split-up into two teams. Little Batman called dad. Claire imitated him in mockery. Batman felt it was time for him to lead his own team. Little Batman and Claire were both surprised. He gave Little Batman the lead on Alpha Team with Tut and Volcana. Ra's was pleased. He gave Little Batman the Bat-Lightwave Blocker for countering the effects of the hypnosis. He thanked Batman for trusting him. Claire wanted to know if she could trade for Man-Bat. Claire told Little Batman he was sounding like a flight attendant. They jumped off the roof. Tut told them he would meet them down there and went back into the building. He lost his robe again and a breeze carried it away to his dismay. Sad Hatter robbed a vintage record store. Claire blocked her escape with a wall of flames. She turned around and was exposed to the Bat-Lightwave Blocker. She was turned back to normal but was naturally confused.

Little Batman hung from Giganta's hair while Claire shot up a fireball to distract her. Little Batman used the Bat-Lightwave Blocker on her. Killer Moth circled around a traffic light. Claire simply generated a flame to bring Moth to them and Little Batman used the Bat-Lightwave Blocker. Little Batman pounced on Copperhead in a Gotham Jewelers and used the Bat-Lightwave Blocker. He told her she was safe now. She thanked him then told him he could get off her stomach now. E*Vil was reunited outside. Little Batman told Claire she would make a pretty good superhero. She wanted him to let it go because powers doesn't mean hero. He believed she had the hero's heart and she just had to follow it. She blushed but still hated being called a superhero. Vicki Vale was on the scene. Little Batman issued a statement that E*Vil was under mind control and was completely innocent all along. Claire tried to walk away. Vicki asked who was behind it. Claire stated she was not a superhero and walked away.

Little Batman knew Vicki was right and they had to find the culprit next. Selina played with a cat tower Little Batman was using to be tall enough to steer the Batmobile. Claire was sure Batman was on it already. Little Batman thought Team Alpha did a great job but also thought it was weird Team Bravo didn't catch a single E*Vil member. He began to think they were busy with something else. Claire remarked he sounded like his dad but he didn't take it as an insult. He cleared his throat and called it an interesting observation. Claire recalled Bruce was acting secretive with Alfred earlier. Little Batman wondered about what since his birthday was ten months way, and they don't start planning until the six month mark. He was not content with the secret staying secret. In the Batcave, Alfred guided Batman to the AntiGow. Alfred was relieved as counting backwards wasn't as easy as it used to be. Little Batman and Claire were behind him. He hid the screen and apologized, he was not at liberty to divulge what was about to be finished up. Little Batman told him he gave him no other choice. Claire nodded in approval. Little Batman took his cowl off and presented the cute face. Alfred shouted no in agony.

Batman ran a diagnostic scan on the AntiGlow but Damian and Claire were in the Batcave, too. Bright and Alfred gestured to him to stop lying. Bruce realized Alfred told Damian and Claire about the AntiGlow. He implored Damian to be mad and yell at him. Damian didn't say word and walked away. Ra's went on a rant about the lying in his bedroom but Damian didn't say anything and leaped out his window. Little Batman kicked and punched a few things then was tapped from behind by the Joker. He knocked Little Batman into his hideout and told him a story about his life when he was a child. He and his Papa J loved celebrating April Fools Day and spreading the holiday spirit all through the town. But on one April Fool's Eve, Papa J pulled off the greatest prank alone while his son was tricked into waiting at home. Joker admitted after all these years, he was still so very angry about it but felt good sharing it.

Little Batman wanted to know what he was up to. Joker replied about 6'4" barefoot. He claimed to be a changed man who saw an old friend in need and wanted to cheer him up. Little Batman told him they weren't friends. Joker wanted to talk about his anger. He bet they had something in common, their dads. Little Batman didn't think they were the same. Joker recalled he got a partnership last Christmas but found him alone on the street now. Joker played footage of Batman and Bright working together. Little Batman told him that was enough. Joker thought it was okay to be mad but he just needed to learn how to express his emotions. He implored him to let it out. Little Batman shouted he was mad at his dad then socked Joker. Joker used the AntiGlow on him. Batman was about to leave to look for Damian but the diagnostic completed and confirmed the AntiGlow they had was a fake. Batman shielded Alicia and Claire as it blew up. Joker broadcast himself and declared it would be the last April Fools' they would ever have. He revealed he would be serving Gotham a 24-hour Prank-A-Thon. Joker presented his co-host and son, Joker Jr. Batman, Claire, Selina, and Alicia were horrified to see Damian now dressed up as Joker.

Ra's believed Damian was just waiting until the Joker's not looking then he would strap him into a dentist chair and give him a root canal with no anesthetic. Alfred agreed with Ra's, except for the last part. Joker and Joker Jr. played "Spin that Citizen" with smiling piranhas instead of swords. The citizen was mad because he was led to believe he was going to be on a dating show. Joker used the AntiGlow on him. Joker and Joker Jr. headed out into the city in a rowboat called S.S. Yuks. They poured cement into a public swimming pool, trapping several senior citizens. Alicia got an axe and freed them. From a helicopter, they dropped a giant model butt onto a giant whoopee cushion on a truck bed and knocked people into trees or onto light poles. Claire was unable to get Damian's attention. A movie theater room was inundated with cheese after all patrons were trapped in their seats. Man-Bat and Ra's al Ghul charged Joker and Joker Jr. but they were just an illusion and cardboard standee. Paul Chen broke open a pinata but there were bees in it. He and Lucky ran into a bouncy house. The bees popped it and the bouncy house took off. Batman went to save them rather than pursue Joker's hot air balloon.

Gotham City was on fire in no time. Joker and Joker Jr. also defaced the Statue of Justice with graffiti. Jr. thought it was taking too long and asked when they were getting to the grand finale. Joker told him soon and what they did so far was only an appetizer. He revealed when the whole city was mad enough, they will put everyone under their mind control by launching the AntiGlow into space with a giant Joker rocket. He placed the Anti-Glow between the teeth of the rocket's Joker face. Jr. was excited about seeing the remote and asked if he could push the button when it was time. Joker told him to be patient. Ra's was proud Damian was finally turning into a proper villain. Batman found the main stage. After some back and forth, Batman tossed Joker into the audience. Joker promised to tell him and had him come closer, right under a hanging bat cage. He stepped aside but leg clamps came out of the floor and immobilized him. Joker reveled how he was way ahead of Batman the whole time but knew the plan had to be foolproof so he spent a long time on it.

Batman freed himself with Batarangs. He ran towards Batman but Jr. dropped the cage on him. Batman used the Bat-Lightwave Blocker but Jr. had on prop eyelids. He smashed the blocker and ran to Joker's arms. Batman wanted to know what Joker wanted. Joker revealed he only wanted what Batman had, a family of his own. A perimeter alarm was breached and the Bat-Fam arrived. Volcana was doused by a giant fire extinguisher. Man-BatMan went on the fritz after Joker blew a whistle and he flew right into a cage. Alfred, in the Exo-Bat, threw a punch at Joker but froze. Jr. was controlling the suit with a controller and made him dance then tossed Joker a mirror he used to deflect Bright's attack back at her. Ra's al Ghul declared if anyone was turning his grandson evil it was him. Joker found him boring. Jr. sucked him into a vacuum chamber. Ra's admitted that was impressive. Joker credited Jr. with knowing everyone's weaknesses. Joker promised to not only bring crime back but also turn every single one of Gotham's citizens into criminals.

Joker resumed his broadcast and announced there was no last prank, just a beatdown from his goons. Batman got free and untied Bright and Volcana but Joker triggered the trap door under them. They landed in a giant prank gauntlet surrounded by an acid moat. Joker then declared it was time for the elimination round with all of Gotham's favorite villains: Solomon Grundy, Livewire, Mad Hatter, and Killer Croc. He implored the citizens to feel their helplessness and give into rage. Jr. told Joker it was the best April Fool's Day ever and they high fived. Both had joy buzzers. Jr. liked all the buttons on the remote and asked if "GF" stood for "grand finale." He demonstrated it was for "giant fart" then pointed out the skull and crossbones was for the grand finale. He tried to push it but Joker stopped him and reminded him they had to make sure Gotham was primed and ready first. Joker surveyed the city and declared it was showtime. Joker launched the Joker rocket with the AntiGlow. Batman made his way to Joker and demanded the remote. Joker warned him not to take another step or he would activate the AntiGlow.

Batman asked Jr. for help and apologized for not trusting him. Jr. opened his jacket and hit in the gut with a boxing glove. Batman told Jr. to think of Gotham. Joker teased him with touching the button. Joker mocked Batman. Batman asked Jr. not to make Gotham pay for his mistake. Jr. asked him if he did make a mistake. Batman admitted to it. The rest of the Bat-Fam arrived. Jr. pointed out he didn't think he could handle the AntiGlow mission and he should have trusted that he could. Batman agreed. Jr. asked if he would trust him to handle it if he could go back in time. Batman stated he would. Jr. asked for the remote. Jr. proclaimed April Fools to his dad. Joker blew a raspberry at Batman. Jr. clarified he was talking to Joker. He pushed the button that caused the rocket to self-destruct. Batman fired a grapnel line and set Little Batman up with it. Little Batman threw out a Batarang that destroyed the AntiGlow. Joker couldn't believe he got tricked. Batman apologized again and hugged Little Batman. The Bat-Fam joined in. Bright realized Little Batman was never hypnotized.

Little Batman confirmed he play along to get Joker to trust him and admitted he was only disappointed but not actually mad, so the brainwashing didn't work. Batman secured Joker. Little Batman stated nothing in the world could stop him from loving his dad or anyone else in his family. Batman admitted he was fooled up until the final moment. Ra's realized he was right and rubbed it in Alfred's face. Alfred wanted to suck him back into the vacuum. Bright suggested adding a soundproof layer, so they didn't have to listen to him. Betrayed by his own son, Joker thought it was truly the best April Fool's Day ever. Batman told him to save it for the judge. Gordon believed they could finally enjoy a crime-free Gotham. Batman disagreed and conceded crime would always have its place in Gotham. Gordon was bummed. Little Batman added the Bat-Family would always be there, too, and apologized about the pranks he pulled with the Joker to keep his cover.

Batman stated they were prepared to make restitution for any and all damages. Little Batman agreed then teased Volcana was a superhero, after all. She wasn't having it but held him in her arms, saying it was good have him back. Alfred called for an April Fool's celebration but they saw the Bat-Signal was activated and took off to respond to it. They cleaned up the Statue of Justice. Little Batman wished he knew what restitution meant before he promised to make it. Joker told him what's important is that they were spending time together as family. Batman bluntly told him he wasn't family.
