The "Man Who Broke the Bat". Though a place like Arkham is his briar patch, he'd still rather be on the outside settling the score with the Bat. So after the Joker broke him out, he's happy to fill any role needed to bring down Gotham's Christmas- including wearing a department store Santa suit. Bane still speaks with a gruff voice that's built more for a slasher film villain than the highly articulate intellectual that he is.
