Rimbor is new to the United Planets system and generally operates independently of Earth. The masses seem to still regard Rimbor as a simple mining colony filled with corruption and ignorant backwards people. For the most part, this is true. The government is entrenched in corruption, strict privacy laws allow crime to flourish, and every Rimborian joins a gang in their childhood. Their representative for the Legion of Superheroes, Ultra Boy is a symbol of hope for change in the culture of the planet and how it is perceived.
