A Dust Bomb is a weapon that creates a speck of dark matter that can swallow a planet whole. Due to the power constraints to maintain a black hole, the effect is of a limited duration. One such bomb was used by the Fatal Five in an attempt to assassinate President Winema of the United Planets on Olympus 12 during the 343rd Intergalactic Games. Superman was able to locate the bomb and relocated it into the atmosphere. At the time, he was unaware of its power and was almost swallowed up before the black hole expired.
