Dalamite Crystals appear to grow in unique cavernous conditions much like stalagmites. The Crystals are known to propogate on the third moon of Ra but are fiercely guarded by creatures that resemble the extinct pteradactyls of Earth.
The Crystals were a crucial component of Brainiac 5's solar transducer, the last ditch effort to destory an active Sun Eater. While Validus distracted the beasts, Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl harvested one crystal each.
