Krypto chased a pigeon around the Daily Planet's roof top globe. Krypto eventually realized he was alone and sliced the globe in half with heat vision. The pigeon was inside and the chase resumed. A school bus driver narrowly avoided the half of the globe that fell down to the street below. On Halloween, Krypto chased a black cat. The antics led to the cat being launched up atop a manhole cover. It landed on top of the Daily Planet's globe. The cat launched the cover into Krypto's face and dove. They tussled but Krypto was unable to catch the cat.
