(Comic Canon only) Bethany thought it was exciting an old college friend of Joker's was coming for a visit. She recalled her abuela always said a friend was a friend for life. He reckoned she was lucky she died young. He apologized and reminded her how he gets about his past because he was a forward thinker. He admitted they were close in their twenties but he was not the same rowdy party clown he once was. He hated how his friend acted like no time's passed and that he was a comedian. She thought he was a comedian, too. Joker stated he was a clown and there was a difference. He was surprised she assumed they met in clown school. On the day of Joker-bration, she told him she was proud of him for helping his friend out and giving him a slot at the celebration. She put on her gas mask. He tossed out a cannister of his Joker toxin to make the audience laugh.
