(Comic Canon only) During a reconnaissance operation in Detroit, Batman operated a Batdrone from the Batcave. Alfred Pennyworth brought him his tea. Vixen informed him she decided to do the recon a few warehouses down from where the Wu-San Sisters were. Batman told her she was too far away and they needed a visual. Vixen summoned several rats and asked them to be her eyes and ears but warned them not to go in all at once. She teased Batman about not knowing she could do that but he denied he had a file on her and was updating it. Batman told her to keep him posted and signed off. Vixen visited the Batcave and told Batman the Wu-San Sisters were establishing themselves as an underground crime syndicate in Detroit and they were receiving shipments within the next few months. She also mentioned Sandra Wu-San knew she was being watched even though Batman was adamant she couldn't know. Vixen advised him not to underestimate women and promised to keep an eye on them then advised him to keep training Batgirl and Robin just in case things go sideways.

Batgirl took notice of a string of arson cases and looked into it. She soon traced them to Lady Firefly. Nightwing agreed to take a brief break from abs day and came over, showing off his acrobatic skills. She played Nightwing a video of Tawny Young interviewing the only living eyewitness, Austin Pike. Austin told Young he was playing with his dog Duke and he witnessed Lady Firefly lighting the neighborhood, including his house, on fire. As Batgirl and Nightwing left the Batcave to search for Lady Firefly, Alfred Pennyworth hailed them on comms and informed them Austin Pike's primary guardian was his sister Bridgit who was the new Firefly. He was sure Lady Firefly would go to the Gotham City Police Department to get her brother.
