The Hyper-Ray was the one thing deemed important on Bryak by Coluian standards. Vril Dox was sent to acquire it. He later used it to shrink a perfect city on each planet then preserve it in a bottle aboard his Skull Ship. Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy tricked Dox and shrank him with the Hyper-Ray centuries later. Lena Luthor modified it so that the people of Metropolis would not get frozen when she shrank Metropolis. Harley, Ivy, and Sharon Quinzel were shrunk by Lena and Lex Luthor soon after. After they escaped the bottle, Vril Dox had Ivy hurl him to the Hyper-Ray. He shrank Lena and Lex Luthor then restored himself, Harley Quinn, Ivy, and Sharon Quinzel back to normal. Ivy and Harley noticed the latter's breasts were bigger. Quinzel lamented she gained back some weight she just lost.
