(Comic Canon only) Robin and Batgirl swooped down and joined Harley Quinn in a fight with Bane. Robin and Harley traded barbs amid Batgirl asking him to give her a chance. After the fight was over, Robin stated he would never trust her as long as she slept with the enemy. Nightwing agreed with his point and recalled Ivy's terraforming zombie plan. Harley pointed out Gotham was back to normal. Hours later, Harley met the Bat-Family on the roof of the Gotham City Police Department headquarters. Robin and Batgirl sparred. Harley wondered why they weren't in the Batcave. Robin quickly answered they won't let a common thief on their estate. Harley suggested someone take the silver dictionary out his mouth and give him some candy. Robin got irritated by her touching the Batsignal and stated it imbued fear in the hearts of villains and instilled hope in Gothamites. Harley called it a nightlight that let villains know when Batman was on his way. Batgirl assured Harley he just gets cranky when he's hungry. He denied it. Batgirl added he was jealous she got to drive the Batmobile when he couldn't see over the dashboard. He denied it.

During a training session at an off-site facility, Robin once again stated he would not let Harley into Batcave while his father was away. As they departed to save Mayor Joker, Harley announced she wanted to go by Red Bat. Robin immediately mocked her sense of imagination. Harley then decided to drive one of Bruce Wayne's cars to City Hall. Robin could not wait until he found out and killed her. During the battle, Black Mask hit Robin in the back of the head but he got off a Batarang and knocked the detonator out of Mask's hands but he escaped. Robin blamed Harley for messing up their cohesion and believed Batman would be ashamed of how they were conducting themselves. The next day, Nightwing and Robin stalked Porcelain and watched as they robbed a bank. Robin became annoyed with Nightwing's monologuing and suggested he actually go save someone. He couldn't believe Nightwing said "Freeze, evildoer" out loud and realized that was partly of why he came crawling back to Gotham City. Robin told him to pull himself together then leaped and threw Birdarangs. He tried his own quip and declared they were making another unauthorized withdrawal.

Porcelain easily smashed Nightwing and Robin's projectiles then threatened to crumble the bank on top of them. Robin told Nightwing he would never know why Batman chose him in the first place and Bludhaven was likely thriving without him. Porcelain got into a getaway car but Robin managed to throw a tracer on it. Nightwing and Robin followed by rooftop but Queen Bee intervened and sent a swarm of bees after them. Back at the off-site facility, they bickered about retreating until Vixen showed up to turn over a young girl named Cassandra Cain to the Bat Family. Robin complimented Cain on her video game skills. She signed "thank you" back. After Nightwing left to meet with a Bludhaven source, Batgirl asked Cain if she would like to learn some self-defense moves. Determined not to get kidnapped again, Tiffany Fox arrived at the Bat-Warehouse. Robin wanted to know how she found them. She reminded them her father was Lucius Fox. Robin was satisfied and allowed her continued presence.

Batgirl asked Fox and Cain if either of them knew any self-defense moves. Fox replied he knew only what her brother Luke taught her. Batgirl continued with her lesson but was caught off-guard when Cain headbutted her in the chest then hit her in the chin with a knee and left her on the floor of the ring. Robin was smitten with Cain and wondered if he was experiencing love. The four met up with Nightwing across from the Boomboom Room. Nightwing was livid she brought children to fight crime at a strip club. Robin invited him them kick his ass first then decide if they should be there or not. Black Mask, Lady Marabunta, and some False Face Society goons were rounded up and taken to Blackgate Penitentiary only to be pursued by Poison Ivy and her Ladies and Nonbinaries of Doom. Robin, Fox, and Cain wrangled Bella Garten but she somehow snapped the line. Everyone froze when Poison Ivy yelled in frustration.

After Ivy left Blackgate with the remains of her Legion, Harley was inconsolable. Even Robin tried to rally her to help escort Mask and Marabunta into Blackgate and tell her things would work out somehow. Back at the Bat-Warehouse, Tiffany Fox told Robin she couldn't believe he got to have fun fighting crime all the time but she admitted it got weird when Livewire tried to kill Harley. Cassandra also signed "weird." Robin joked all adults were weird, especially Harley and they all laughed. Vixen introduced Cain to Wonder Woman. Fox and Cain were shocked to get to meet her. Cain whispered to Robin she was going to miss him and kissed him on the cheek. Robin hoped she would join the team someday as well as Fox. He nicknamed Fox, "Microbat."
