(Comic Canon only) While Tawny Young reported live from the Old Gotham Corn Factory about the arrest of Black Manta, Livewire, Killer Frost, and Nightfall, Batman stomped Man Bat and drop kicked Killer Croc in the background. Batman caught up to Harley, Ivy, and Gordon at Catwoman's hideout. Batman blew his way in and tried to get Gordon to stand down. However, Gordon was content with blowing himself up if that meant taking down Harley once and for all. Batman grabbed the hand holding the grenade and tried to get through to him by citing his daughter and the fact she would grow up without a father. Gordon shot at Harley and Ivy. Batman entered Catwoman's bedroom just as she was leaving and complimented her home. Catwoman mused it was nice. Batman claimed he just wanted to talk and promised Gordon wouldn't be back. Catwoman stated she was not coming back neither. She swung out the window, made a heart sign with her whip, and ran off. In the chaos, Harley and Ivy drove off. Gordon returned to the van and pursued them. Batman dropped down onto his windshield and ordered him to stop because he was destroying and terrorizing Gotham, acting like what he was chasing. Gordon declared he wasn't a damn good cop anymore and braked, sending Batman flying.

Batman called up Dick Grayson and informed him of a call about a hostage situation at the Bludhaven Rest Stop he intercepted. Grayson teased and replied with a hello. Batman also asked Grayson to stop Commissioner Gordon because he had become so fixated on bringing in Harley Quinn dead or alive, that innocent people were being seriously injured or killed in his wake. He added Batgirl was on her way to assist in talking Gordon down. The next night, Batman hailed Vixen on comms while she was on the runway during a fashion show. Batman warned her intel led him to believe Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy were heading to Detroit. He speculated they could be partnering with Mephitic in Flint and warned her to be careful. From the Batcave, with Pennyworth, Batman watched Tawny Young's Detroit report about Gordon bungling another attempt to arrest Harley and Ivy.

Batman had Vixen perform reconnaissance on the Wu-San Sisters in Detroit while he collected data with Batdrone he operated from the Batcave. Vixen informed him she decided to do the recon a few warehouses down from where the Wu-San Sisters were. Batman told her she was too far away and they needed a visual. Vixen summoned several rats and asked them to be her eyes and ears but warned them not to go in all at once. She teased Batman about not knowing she could do that but he denied he had a file on her and was updating it. Batman told her to keep him posted and signed off. She paid him a visit in person at the Batcave but he cut to the chase. She informed him she learned the sisters were establishing themselves as an underground crime syndicate in Detroit and they were receiving shipments within the next few months. He wondered what was in the shipment. She mentioned Sandra Wu-San knew she was being watched, to Batman's surprise. Vixen advised him to stop underestimating women then promised to keep monitoring the Wu-San Sisters. She also advised him to keep training Batgirl and Robin in case things went sideways for him.
