Eclipso is the Spirit of God's Wrath. At some point, he was imprisoned in the Heart of Darkness diamond. The diamond changed hands until it ended up in the possession of Lena Luthor, unaware it housed a demon in it. One year later, at Tavern Over The Green, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy immediately recognized it and Luthor was surprised it had a demon in it. While she stopped to smell a large blooming flower, the diamond was knocked off her and Eclipso was freed. He was almost immediately decapitated by Harley. The swing of her bat propelled the head into some vines overhead. Superman arrived too late to deal with Eclipso and the demon's head fell into his hands.
