(Comic Canon only) Herman Psycho was dropped off at Doctor Psycho's new house for a weekend visit. Giganta was unimpressed by the fortune he made off of podcasting. He refused to go to his school's prom because he thought it was stupid and an outdated, expensive tradition that upholds gender stereotypes. Doctor Psycho argued it was a rite of passage. He stormed off and isolated himself in his bedroom to post movie reviews to his blog. Doctor Psycho vented his frustrations with his son at Noonan's. He worried he would end up a freak like his mother, Giganta. Joker told him kids were the worst and listed off the things they needed. He found it hard since he spent the majority of his adult life making sure things died. Psycho could relate. Joker asserted he was in it for the long haul with Bethany but mused a manual for fatherhood would be nice. Psycho speculated he was a bad father. King apologized for minimizing his anguish and making it about him then reckoned he would make a great father. Joker questioned how he would know since he had no children. Psycho announced happy hour was over.

Joker brought up the fact to King that he didn't even talk to Tabitha about children yet and had no place to talk. King thought his generally agreeable demeanor combined with his fierce protectiveness and penchant for doting on those he loved strongly suggested he would be an excellent father. Joker suggested he have some shark babies first before he flaps his jaws about fatherhood. King warned he didn't have to qualify them as "shark" babies. Suddenly, a portal appeared outside Noonan's and sucked the trio up. They were trapped in nightmares based on horror movies. They found themselves in a crazed killer's cabin. King commented it bordered on copyright infringement. Joker noticed a touching tribute to a mother and father. King thought that was wishful thinking. Joker retorted he recognized a child's tribute because he had children, to King's chagrin. King pointed out the killer could be a woman. Psycho told them to shut up. The killer burst in with a chainsaw and chopped King's fin off. They were transported to another room in pitch black darkness.

King wondered if it was Shark Heaven. Joker grumbled he could say "Shark" but King said that wasn't the same thing. Psycho told them to shut up. They realized they were strapped to chairs. The lights turned on and there were devices above them designed to decapitate. King reckoned someone saw one too many scary movies. Eventually, Psycho realized what was going on and his son appeared. Herman Psycho found it lame and admitted he never told his dad about his powers because they were stupid. Doctor Psycho thought they were awesome and called him ungrateful. Even Joker suggested he cut him some slack. Psycho put his hand on his son's arm and focused. Only the two of them appeared in a prom nightmare. Herman Psycho just wanted to leave but Doctor Psycho could relate to being ridiculed but it made him the man he was now. Herman Psycho refused to internalize their bullying and become a supervillain like him. Doctor Psycho finished and told him it was better to stand out than fit in. To Herman Psycho's surprise, he was announced to be to prom king.

After Psycho saved his son from a humiliating prom prank based on "Carrie," they ended up back in their house. Herman Psycho apologized but Doctor Psycho promised to help teach him how to control his powers. They hugged. Psycho realized Joker and King Shark were still trapped. For the fourth segment of the first episode of Tawny Talks, Tawny Young warned the audience and viewers the next segment would be triggering to those who went through sexual assault and posted the National Sexual Assault Hotline. Doctor Psycho, Herman, and Giganta were brought out. She chided Frank for being ableist over Psycho's name and then reminded the audience about the family's previous visit on her previous show. Psycho tried to apologize about not being the best husband or father but Giganta added "human being" which set him off and he called her a miserable bitch. She threatened to end him if he ever called her something other than "Doris" or "Giganta" then hung him up on a ceiling light.

Herman Psycho stood up for her and told him to respect the woman who gave life to him under false pretenses then asked him what his clients would think if they knew then he hypnotized women to love him, called other women disgusting words, and broadcasted revenge porn for all to see. Psycho took offense to being made out as the bad guy and just wanted respect. Psycho ordered Herman to come back and stated he could erase the damage so they could be a happy family again. Herman declared he could never manipulate his mother again and hung him back up on a ceiling light. Young ordered her crew to bring him down. Frank noted she had that messy Jessie Jonesman spirit. At the end of the episode, Young brought all the guests out and thanked them for spilling their tea then suggested therapy. Psycho did not believe any of them were on his level and declared he was no sidekick unlike Clayface, whom he described with profanity. Annie took offense. Another fight broke out.
