(Comic Canon only) Clayface, as Steph, called up Barbara Gordon and told her she just got back from a getaway with Chad and learned her dad lost it. Barbara didn't want to get into it and changed the subject to "Harlivy." She reckoned Steph was going to lose their bet and she was going to have to pay for Burrito Bucket for a month. Steph countered she was going to lose, not her then asked what was new. Barbara Gordon concluded he gave up on chasing them since they were in Detroit but noted they looked so cute together. Steph was confused. She clarified she saw them on TV and lied her father was calling her then hung up. King advised Steph to come clean she was really Clayface unless a vacation to Arkham Asylum was preferred. Steph didn't believe she would do that to her since they were besties. Steph shifted back to Clayface and admitted it was nice having someone who didn't see him as a villain, who's a friend that cares and doesn't make fun of him. King understood but pointed out he was instead being a bestie that's been tricking her for information on Harley and Ivy. He implored Clayface to tell her the truth before it went too far.

Clayface went to Las Vegas after he realized he never gave on his dream to be a star. No one gave him the time of day. One day, he cried to the hotel mogul Steve Zynn and said he needed a job. Clayface took a piece of himself and created a young girl named Annie then used her to garner sympathy in his audition. She ran in pretending to be a sad, starving girl. Zynn was so embarrassed for them and let Clayface audition. Luckily, Clayface blew him away. In case he needed her again, Clayface kept Annie in his hotel room and told her to stay. He got so successful so fast, he completely forgot about her. Clayface played the entire ensemble in his show. Over a year later, the success began to overwhelm him. Thanks to the Teal Man Group, Clayface went on another bender combining a runner's high with whippets. Clayface's manager Steve Zynn found him stuck to his ceiling and gathered he was approaching mental collapse from being overworked. He suggested a more precise system of partying because he had a lot of work to do: a photo op for an S&M convention at The Candy Store, guest judging the Vegas Dragcon, and a private show at a sweet sixteen for the daughter of the renowned mobsters, the Romano Family.

Clayface bemoaned how people wanted a piece of him every second of every day. Zynn told him that's what being a star was. He also brought up Pine and Steller's offer. Clayface still refused to give one of his fingers because he was sure it would be used for sex. Zynn decided to tell them they would circle back. Clayface declared he needed a break. Zynn was fine with that but said the Romano party was non-negotiable. Clayface was aghast and thought that was the worst one. Zynn reminded him that was the one rule the mob had, don't say no to them. Clayface noted he was made of clay so a bullet or leg bashing wouldn't do much to him. He went to eat at We Break-a-Bread and yo face and got the best booth after threatening to have them shut down. He asked for a bottle of their finest Carlo Rossi. Two Romano mobsters happened to enter and immediately agreed they should report it to the Italian American Defamation League. They recognized Clayface then threatened to dissolve him with sodium and water. He was thrown in a trunk and taken to a Romano compound in the desert that used to be an escape room business.

Sasha Romano had him man the DJ booth and ordered him to only play the B-sides so no one or nothing steals the spotlight from her. He was surprised B-sides were still being made. She revealed they hired celebrities to do degrading work and make them squirm on purpose as an ultimate power move. He found that bleak. She ordered him to make them laugh or they would take him on their European summer trip. Clayface made up an excuse of having to go to the restroom and was escorted. A boy recognized him and wanted a selfie just for the irony. Annie happened to be at the party. Annie asked Clayface for an autograph but he didn't even recognize her. He saw a note instructing him to hand the paper back to him and say thank you if he wanted to leave the party. He did and was elated he was saved. For the grand finale, Sasha Romano's new car was presented but she had a meltdown over it not being gold. The girl pulled Clayface behind the curtain and told him it was their chance with everyone distracted. Clayface assumed she was a fan and insisted he could escape on his own. She asserted he did because the place was built like a fortress.

He learned her name was Annie but before she could answer why she was helping them they foguht off some goons. They made their way outside. She told him to steal a security jeep and try to flee back to civilization. He was surprised she wasn't coming with him. She finally snapped and revealed she was his daughter and he forgot all about her. They ended up in the same jeep and Annie recounted her life. To his surprise, she refused to rejoin him. He still didn't want to just leave her out in the world and offered her to be his awful celebrity kid. Annie drove through the security fence. The guard reported Clayface's departure and suggested it was time to get the Jonas Brothers as replacements. Clayface still wanted to know why she bothered to rescue him. She admitted he was her father and she couldn't just let him die. Clayface realized what a massive mistake he made, called her tough, kind, and strangely smarter then him, and asked for a second chance. She wasn't sure and asked if she could think about it.

During Batgirl's segment in the first episode of Tawny Talks, King Shark got bored. Clayface got an idea to pretend to be whoever Calculator claimed Batgirl was, just for kicks. He turned into Barbara Gordon and was used by Batgirl to protect her secret identity. Clayface and Annie were the third segment. Young went over how Clayface forgot about his daughter for a year and she survive on her own thanks to his so-called Vegas benders. Young brought up it wasn't the first time he neglected a child and brought out a special surprise guest, the Arm. Annie was about to storm off. Clayface pointed out he did not leave Arm on purpose. King Shark tried to explain they were on the run from the police after a failed heist and he was created by accident but Tabitha told him to sit back down. Arm took offense to King calling them accidents. Annie launched Arm and he punched King then she turned into a monstrous clay form, angry over not being cared about. She threw Clayface into the set background while Arm yanked on King's tongue.

Young called for security and told the crew to cut the cameras. At the end of the episode, Young brought all the guests out and thanked them for spilling their tea then suggested therapy. Psycho did not believe any of them were on his level and declared he was no sidekick unlike Clayface, whom he described with profanity. Annie took offense. Another fight broke out. King Shark and Clayface were aghast when Harley passed on band practice with them for The Blackened Pains of Zeerathan. Clayface wondered if they were even a crew anymore. Harley assured them they were but they were suspicious with how unusual she was acting. Clayface and King Shark followed Harley Quinn on foot. Clayface admitted he was still upset he did not get the spotlight at the premiere of A Hard Wayne's Gonna Fall and wanted a legion of fans. A woman got into it with Clayface over his drama and attacked him with one of her crutches. He took offense at being called "Mudboy" and wondered why nobody knew who he was. King tried to comfort him and also suggest a therapist in vain.

Clayface admitted King Shark was right about the stakeout being terrible. Marabunta rushed past them. King yelled in anger at her. They were surprised to run into Harley. She lied she was just working on some cardio like Riddler once suggested. Clayface decided he would impersonate Lady Marabunta to get Harley to chase him. King thought it would easier if they just asked her to tell them the truth but Clayface proceeded with his plan. King opted to support him from home. Batgirl and Harley returned to an off-site Bat-Warehouse. Batgirl objected to Harley using torture but the latter promised to only harm Lady Marabunta with her bat. Clayface revealed himself to Batgirl's befuddlement. After an incident at Blackgate Penitentiary, Harley and Ivy told King Shark, Clayface, Sy Borgman, and Frank The Plant about the latter' activities as an anti-hero with Batman's team. King Shark didn't think associating with Harley would do any good with his standing in the villain community. He quit the team. Ivy hoped they could all remain friends and support Harley. Clayface and King Shark left to process the news.
