Star Johnson is a highly decorated space captain for the Galactic Protectorate and the professional rival of Duck Dodgers. Their rivalry was fueled by competition, distrust, jealousy, and women. It was further fueled when Johnson who brought Dodgers to trial over Dodgers' incompetence. The case was, however, dismissed. When the call to arms is sounded, the duo temporarily suspends their ill will towards each other for the common good. They also are on good terms when it comes to besting other rival captains, including Dallas Rodman. Despite an obvious disregard for Protectorate code, he often makes unreturned advances on female officers including one named Tina, mocks other officers, and is an egomaniac who often steals credit for victories he didn't lead.
