Olapet is from the planet Southern Goldstar, is the Green Lantern of Space Sector 345 and was also part of a division called the Green Lantern Corps of the Klyminade. As a plant lifeform, Olapet kept the seed of her child in a small sack, secured by a rope around her body. At the end of her life cycle, Olapet wilted. The new Olapet would emerge from the sack to inherit the power ring. She would remove a seed from the top of her mother's body and place that in the sack until the next Olapet was born. So far, there have been twenty three Olapets. Knowledge is passed from mother to daughter.
