As Green Lantern, Medphyll patrols Space Sector 586 and is renowned as one of the most skilled Green Lanterns. He first met Hal Jordan during a Green Lantern conference on planet Yquem and were close friends ever since. Being similar in physiology to vegetation, Medphyll is vulnerable to extreme cold.
