Moon Balls are spherical implements that induce pain on those that activate them. Their original purpose is up to speculation but it is currently considered contraband by the Green Lantern Corps. Some have begun using the Moon Ball illegally to feel brief bouts of euphoria. However, Sinestro bound one Ball to Labella and interrogated her to find the location of Cuch. Hal Jordan didn't agree with the method of interrogation and destroyed the Moon Ball.
