Francine Lee was Kirk Langstrom's first girlfriend and remained best friends until Langstrom left Ellis. Years later, she ran into Langstrom in Swifty's and reminisced. Langstrom was about to finish apologizing for not keeping touch when Lee's husband, Harv, interrupted. Tired of Harv's heckling, Langstrom snapped and threw him out the front window. He took one last look at Lee then left Ellis as she checked on Harv in the parking lot.
