Dr. Slate was part of an international task force that occupied the Eternity Institute to study both the former and comatose Forever People and Doctor Psycho's research. Slate confirmed the Forever People reverted to their normal forms but were still in a coma. Slate admitted to having no idea if they would ever wake due in part to Batman's unstable antidote.
