Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland. As a leading global city, it is one of the largest financial centers and its low tax rates often attract overseas companies to set up their headquarters there. After Imperiex invaded the minds of Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman and forced them to be extensions of his will, he strode into Zurich with them at his side. There was a mass panic. The police were sent in as the first wave of defense. They died by the dozens. The military arrived next but didn't fare any better. Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman provided a distraction and fought the military as Imperiex focused on enthralling all the people of Zurich. Luckily, Mother Box freed Wonder Woman's consciousness and she decked Imperiex. Batman and Superman attacked her but Mother Box was able to free them, too. Mother Box was willing to try and free those in Zurich but Imperiex grabbed her as she materialized and crushed her - letting out a primal scream. Suddenly, a giant Boom Tube manifested in the sky and teleported Imperiex, Wonder Woman, Superman, and Batman to Pripyat, an abandoned city in the Ukraine.
