Switzerland is a country located in central-western Europe. Jackson Alpert built the headquarters of his Eternity Institute, a cutting edge research facility, on a mountain in Switzerland. After the Forever People were dealt with, Alpert rose as Imperiex in the mountainside of Switzerland and addressed Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. They did not believe his claims of helping the world enter a golden age of peace and attacked him. Imperiex saw some worth in them as symbols he could exploit and forced them to become extensions of his will. Imperiex strode into Zurich with them at his side.
