Swifty's is a bar in Ellis, Nebraska. Kirk Langstrom returned to Ellis but was rejected by his parents. He went to Swifty's and ran into his ex-girlfriend Francine. Langstrom was relieved he still had a friend in Ellis but was soon harassed by an old antagonist, Harv, who was married to Francine. Langstrom had enough and tossed Harv through the front window. As Francine checked on Harv in the parking lot, Langstrom left Ellis.
