At some point when Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman were unconscious in Jackson Alpert's custody, the Forever People began to erect floating citadels of their own across the world and began building their own fiefdoms. Each Forever offered themselves as a more enlightened alternative to the governments of the world. Eventually, a war broke out between the Forever People for dominance. Bear emerged the victor and the others went to his citadel in Mumbai to help map out the future. Superman and Wonder Woman, later joined by Batman, went to the citadel and put down the Forever People.
