Moonrider is one of the wealthy who were the first to become one of Jackson Alpert's Forever People. After being upgraded, he took the name Moonrider. He can generate energy blasts from his hands. During anti-Forever People movements across the globe, Moonrider joined Serifan and Dreamer in helping Alpert end the violence peacefully. Moonrider piloted their Whiz Wagon to Rio de Janeiro then to Moscow next. Some days later, Moonrider was among the team chosen to greet Superman as he made his way past the Eternity Institute's force field then dined with his bretheren, Alpert, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Moonrider mused there would soon be a world of Supermen and Superman would be reduced to a footnote in history. Even Superman was put off by Moonrider's arrogance. Moonrider deflected the comment as a label the weak use to condemn the strong. Superman recalled how easily he defeated Moonrider earlier but he offered to fight again. Alpert downplayed Moonrider's taunts as teases and continued with his discussion.

During the battle on Bear's citadel, Vykin and Moonrider attacked Wonder Woman in tandem. Upset by Wonder Woman's act of blinding Sumo, Moonrider declared she was blinded by her own arrogance and hate. He concluded the Forever People were wrong about her. Moonrider blasted Wonder Woman but she blocked the attack with her sword. Batman arrived at the citadel with Superman and threw out Batarang's laced with an antidote to Alpert's Forever Formula. Moonrider fell into a comatose state and was taken back to the Eternity Institute to be monitored and studied by an international task force.
