At the culmination of Will Magnus' plan to unite the world with his nanite bomb, Superman charged and knocked his Super, Bat and Wonderdroids out of the Tower of Justice down into a subway station. They merged into one being and fired a thermal blast from its mouth, knocking Superman through a train and wall. The droid launched an uppercut and sent Superman back to the surface. With three Mother Boxes in it, the droid made use of its teleportation ability to dodge the majority of Superman's attacks and blitzed him with attack after attack. It bashed him into the side of a building, tossed him into a parking lot, and threw a semi-truck on top of him. As they locked arms the struggling Superman used his X-ray vision and pinpointed the location of the Mother Boxes. Using his heat vision, Superman burned them out of the droid. He clocked the droid so hard, the street and area was rocked by a shock wave. Superman flew into the droid and forced it deep below Metropolis into a cavern filled with magma. Superman pinned it under the magma, ripped its arms off, and based it until it melted.
