Wachet was the first warrior to receive a Green Power Ring. However, she was not the first considered the first Green Lantern. During a losing battle against a massive armada, Wachet elected to sacrifice herself while G'Hu and Avra retreated. Avra disagreed and believed they had to will their survival. Avra succeeded in creating the first construct and the others followed suit.
