The Green Lantern of Space Sector 2815, native of the planet Graxos IV, was retired. The Guardians of the Universe chose the Lantern's daughter, Arisia, to replace the position which made her the youngest Corps member in history. Taken from a physics class, Arisia was unsure of her place among the Corps. Three days later, the Guardians of the Universe announced Krona, one of the universe's greatest threats, was about to return to the positive matter universe. Hal Jordan was assigned to mentor Arisia but due to the events, forgot to teach her a few things including stories of past and current Lanterns. The first story she learned was of the first Lantern, Avra then of Kilowog, Laira, and Mogo.
At the conclusion of the story of Mogo, Arisia and Jordan were attacked by more Shadow Demons. Sinestro intervened and launched a grenade-like construct. Arisia was caught in the blast wave and was rendered unconscious. She came to in one of the monitoring stations and was told the story of Abin Sur by Sinestro. During the final battle with Krona, Arisia realized the Corps could turn the tide if they could find something of equal or greater mass. The Corps used their rings to launch the evacuated planet Oa at Krona and neutralized him. After the Guardians gathered everyone on Mogo, they opened the Book of Oa and revealed Arisia fulfilled the prophecy of Oa's destruction. As the Corps set off to build a new one, Jordan told Arisia a story about he fought an army of Manhunters with only Ch'p as back up.
