An alien race with predisposed aggression, the Khunds are a race of planet conquerers and control a vast empire. Khunds are even known to challenge each other to physical combat to the death for the slightest of insults due to a strict code of combat.
The Khunds once invaded Chiraka. As they closed in on the capitol, the Green Lantern Corps intervened. Sergeant Deegan and four of his latest students arrived first. While Deegan sacrificed himself to destroy a cannon, Kilowog finished off the forces with a taser sweep. The Khunds also invaded Jayd and slaughtered many. The planet's resident military, the Golden Dragon, and Green Lantern Galius Zed were no match. Some time later, the Golden Dragon struck back and destroyed many Khundian forces in space.
