The Lexporter 1.0 is Lex Luthor's attempt at teleportation, transporting people or objects great distances in an instant. The Lexporter prototype is worn like a gauntlet and remains concealed under one of Luthor's gloves until activated. As someone out to make money, Luthor believed the Lexporter would take the effort out of making a quick profit. When the Joker offered to sell him Kryptonite, Luthor requested to speak in person and teleported right into Joker's hideout, the Laff Factory. He demonstrated the Lexporter on Penguin's top hat and teleported it atop Joker's head. The Joker saw it as the perfect piece to his games and allied with Luthor. However, when the Super Friends foiled their plans, Joker aimed the Lexporter 2.0 at everyone, including Luthor. Luthor blasted his Lexporter 1.0 at the same time as Joker and caused an overload. As a result, Luthor and Joker were stuck in one body.
