Joker's Laughing Gas is kept in reserve on his trick squirting flower. Victims are reduced to a continuous fit of laughter until the effects wear off. Lex Luthor became irate when Hawkman and Aquaman were lured to Slaughter Swamp by the presence of the Statue of Liberty. With the risk of their base being compromised, Luthor chided Joker for taking foolish risks. Joker blasted Luthor with Laughing Gas. Just after Hawkman, Aquaman, and Batman were captured, the effects wore off and Luthor was back to normal.
