Hawkman defies gravity and can fly with the help of his large wings. He combines his ability to fly with archaic weapons to take down villains and fight for justice! Dispatched to Gotham City in search of missing landmarks, Hawkman and Aquaman found the defaced Statue of Liberty in Slaughter Swamp. Before Hawkman could come to Aquaman's aid against Solomon Grundy, he was blocked by the Penguin in his Penguin Copter. Before Hawkman could deliver the finishing blow to the helicopter, he was grandstanded by Batman from his Batboat. He, Batman, and Aquaman were blasted by the Lexporter 2.0 and captured. In the ensuing fight against the Legion of Doom, Hawkman defeated Solomon Grundy. He was grandstanded by Green Lantern, who finished off Lex Luthor's giant mechanical suit. Hawkman removed Luthor from it. He helped Superman and Wonder Woman with returning the Statue of Liberty.
