Blue Kryptonite is one of the few weaknesses of Ultraman. Upon exposure, Ultraman is powerless. In order to prevent it from being used against him, Ultraman destroyed every sample of Blue Kryptonite. However, in his travels across the Multiverse, Alexander Luthor secured a piece and hid it in one of his suit's compartments. Upon luring Ultraman into a fight, Luthor exposed him to the Kryptonite and defeated him.
