A refugee was recruited by J'edd J'arkus to join his Made Men. When she accepted, he gave her a mystical totem that granted her the power to take the form of any animal she chose to. Vamp exploits the beasts by whom her powers are inspired and wears several animal skins. Vamp was later associated with Owlman after J'arkus' death. While searching for the Quantum Trigger, Vamp fought against Wonder Woman. Taking the forms of a lion, snake, and bear, Vamp was knocked unconscious when Wonder Woman applied her knee to Vamp's midsection. She reverted back to her human form.
