Emberton Prep is a private high school in Star City. Dr. Mazursky believed his daughter Nina was better off attending school and she needed to socialize with other children. He chose Emberton Prep. They met with Principal Gale. He explained her origins and her amphibious nature. Gale knew of his work in bio genetics and commended him for the genetically engineered rice that helped feed nations. He touted Nina being fluent in four languages and well versed in Shakespeare and Calculus. Gale accepted her into the school. He told Nina to thank her. She did. Gale opened the floor to her for questions. Nina pointed to a photograph of lacrosse players and asked how to play it. She joined the lacrosse team but was targeted. She didn't fare any better in school and was often called a frog. The last straw was a frog being left inside her locker.
