Dr. Francine Langstrom is the wife of Dr. Kirk Langstrom. Batman and Robin drove to the Langstrom house after learning Man-Bat was kidnapped by Talons. Batman entered from the balcony alone and found Dr. Francine Langstrom packing a suitcase. She was not surprised he let himself in. He wanted to talk about her husband, Dr. Kirk Langstrom. She revealed she had not seen him in a week and added the last time he was released from the State Hospital, his "sobriety" ended in record time and he managed to put his formula into pill form. She mused that meant he was either a dedicated scientist or a hopeless addict. She tossed the pill bottle to him and left, encouraging him to lock up since he probably knew the alarm code.
