The Batmobile is Batman's primary mode of transportation. It was completely modified and armed with advanced technology. Unable to drive due to injuries from two encounters with the Muscle, Batman had Alfred Pennyworth drive the Batmobile as they tracked down Detective Renee Montoya. He told Pennyworth to speed up. He found it absurd and pointed out they were already hydroplaning through the downpour and mused one more jolt would put him in a full-body cast. After interrogating Clayface at Arkham Asylum, Batman left. Over comms, Robin told him the Batcomputer was detecting the Batmobile was carrying over three hundred extra pounds. Batman noticed the onboard data wasn't loading. Clayface revealed himself and attacked. Tendrils entered the Batmobile while he pounded the exterior. Batman changed course, plowed through fencing and parked cars, and drove into the harbor waters. He told Robin to bring the Batwing and some chains.

During a battle with hired gunmen on the night of March 28, Batman activated an apparatus that lifted the Batmobile then launched suppression gas at the men perched on fire exits. Batman parked outside Camp Finger and used the ejector seat to propel himself over the guard shack. After locating Straightman in the East Side, Batman remote summoned the Batmobile. It drove right into Straightman but he stopped it and picked it up. Robin snagged right leg and pulled. The Batmobile fell and pinned Straightman to the ground. Batman used Professor Strange's knockout serum to render him unconscious.
