Real Identity: Cassie Kendall
Appearances (BTAC Comics): Old Flames
Skills: Manipulation

Cassie Kendall came from a rich family and often manipulated the feelings of others to get what she wanted regardless of who it hurt. During the college years, she played the field. She entered into a relationship with Bruce Wayne, who was a few years older. He thought they were exclusive. At the same time Wayne was dating her, Kendall had a secret fling with both Harleen Quinzel and Harvey Dent. Dent didn't want to hurt Wayne's feelings and despite her claim she liked Wayne, Dent could not resist the temptation. Wayne almost abandoned his promise to his late parents but ultimately broke up with Kendall. At the end of junior year, Kendall thought about spending the summer in Europe. Quinzel only had herself to offer and hoped she would stay in Gotham with her. They met at their secret rendezvous at a stadium owned by the Kendall family and spent the night. The next morning, Kendall was gone. A couple weeks later, Quinzel got a postcard from Paris. As a condition of her parents' will, Kendall would only receive an ample, albeit fixed, income to last her the rest of the life from a trust fund managed by one Mr. Becker. It was formed to ensure she would not waste the fortune on her impetuous tendencies.

Kendall knew the only way to dissolve her restrictive trust was a life-or-death emergency, such as a kidnapping. She planned to stage one upon returning to Gotham City during a party. Bruce Wayne attended the party atop Sorkin Arms. He swore she had not changed one bit then apologized for leaving early. She noted he was just like when they first met at the winter formal, the perfect gentleman. She teased she wished he had not been one. Wayne kissed her on the forehead and told her she would always be the belle of the ball to him. Harley Quinn sneaked into the party and surprised Kendall hoping to see if the old flame still had a spark. Kendall rushed her off to a bedroom and promised they would have their own private party later. As planned, a paramilitary team of kidnappers arrived in a helicopter and kidnapped Kendall. Harley attempted to intervene but Kendall was held at gunpoint. Harley fell into a nearby pool. The kidnappers tossed a grenade into the pool but Harley was fished out by Batman before she could plummet to her death.

Mr. Becker received a ransom demand of two hundred million dollars, essentially the full amount left in the trust fund. With no other choice, he wired the amount to the kidnappers' account. From the luxury suite at the family-owned stadium, Kendall paid the kidnappers one million each. Harley cut the lights and confronted her. Kendall retorted she was no saint either and told her she stunk at the "Batman" act. Batman swung into the suite and took out the kidnappers. Kendall picked up a dropped gun and ordered them to freeze or they were dead. Harley recalled the wild times they had in the suite. Kendall revealed she kept her around for laughs. Harley offered her another, a corker. She popped the cork on a bottle of champagne. It hit her right eye. Kendall fired wildly, lost her balance, and fell out of of the suite. Harley grabbed her arm at the last second but spared her life then told Batman Kendall was the past and left. Kendall tried to claim she was the victim. Batman handcuffed her.
