Mary Dahl is a bitter former sitcom star who suffers from rare disease called systemic hypoplasia which stunted her physical growth at age five. She went on to star in the hit TV sitcom, "Love that Baby" at age 20. as Baby Doll, the family's daughter who often got into comedic accidents. In the last season, Dahl continously complained she was not getting enough exposure and abruptly quit. She became a fixture in the Gotham underworld after kidnapping her former castmates.
Baby Doll attended Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy's Christmas party at the Iceberg Lounge. She went to the bar and ordered a Mai Tai and a booster seat. March Hare held the drink up high and asked her for identification. Baby Doll joked she should call her babysitter or her parole officer. Everyone laughed. Hare gave her the drink and toasted. Eileen Kwan, the one guest who wasn't a criminal, commented she looked a little too young for the party. Baby Doll retorted her face said she was five but her Driver's License said she was 32 then asked Kwan if she wanted to make something of it. Arnold Wesker stepped in and informed Baby Doll that he didn't think Kwan was one of "them." After Knute Brody threw out presents, Baby Doll couldn't resist and opened hers with a knife, invoking her "I didn't mean to" line. Knute mused they should open them right away because he saw cops pulling up ten minutes ago. Baby Doll screamed there was a raid and the party cleared out.
Harley Quinn finally hosted a girls' night at Taqueria Tiki with March Hare, Roxy Rocket, and Baby Doll. Baby told Harley it was nice to see her happy again after her split with Ivy. Harley revealed they made up via text and Ivy was coming as soon as landed in Gotham. Amanda Waller stated Task Force X needed her help even though she already served her time. Harley quickly declined. Waller ordered King Shark, Captain Boomerang, and Katana to take Baby Doll, Roxy Rocket, and March Hare instead. Baby tried to run for it but King Shark grabbed her. She threatened to kick out his teeth faster than he could regrow them. Waller ordered them to fit Rocket and Baby with neck bombs while she made sure Hare got deported. She took out her phone and showed Deadshot and the Muscle holding Poison Ivy hostage. Harley caved and agreed to do her dirty work but warned if Ivy or her friends got hurt, she would kill her.
