Gorilla Grodd used his genius to construct several advanced devices to serve his evil agenda. One such device is the Sonic Cannon. Standing higher than a standard human, the Cannons emit sound waves. While in the future, Grodd used the Cannon successfully on the Animal Men who had more sensitive ears. As a result, they were disoriented and easily defeated by his army. That was until Batman arrived in his Batjet and destroyed the Cannons with well-placed missiles.
