The Seven Deadly Enemies of Man: Pride, Envy, Lust, Hatred, Selfishness, Laziness and Injustice are seven powerful demons known to antagonize early man. They are better known as the personifications of the Seven Deadly Sins. Shazam fought them and imprisoned them in seven stone statues with mock caricatures. He housed the statues in a mysterous cavern that acts as the portal to the Rock of Eternity. Centuries later, Black Adam released them by knocking over a burning flame. While Batman tried to fight them off, Billy Batson broke free of his restraints, transformed into Captain Marvel, and destroyed the statues.
