Lexbots are near perfect robotic duplicates of Lex Luthor. They are able to evade detection by Superman, possibly because they are made up of lead. One such Lexbot staged a theft at the Hall of Minerals and kidnapped Lois Lane. Superman captured and turned it over to the police thinking it was the real Lex Luthor.
